Conventional star-quad configuration: two connectors at each end, joined to a pair of opposite-side conductors. This cable is also offered in bi-wired configurations. The terminations employ a distinctive ultrasonic welding method that fuses the copper wire directly to the brass banana or spade connector, with no intervening metal, compression sleeves, or setscrews. Star quad cable configuration minimizes the EM field around the cable for less interaction with other system cabling.
