The XL74610 ideal diode module uses a dedicated LM7461 0 chip to simulate an ideal diode rectifier; The unique advantage of this mechanism is that it does not use grounding as a reference and adopts a low internal resistance MOS of around 3.3 m. When working with high current, the voltage drop is small, avoiding the high voltage drop of 0.7V for ordinary diodes. The reduction in voltage drop also greatly reduces heating; A 0.3V Schottky diode operates at a 10A current with a heating power consumption of 3W. The measured XL 74610 ideal diode operates at a 10A current, with a voltage drop of about 50mV and a heating power consumption of about 0.5W.
