This module is based on the 12C optical-digital converter TSL2561, which converts light intensity into a digital signal and can be used to measure the changes in light intensity in various applications. You can switch between three detection modes to obtain your readings (infrared mode, full-spectrum mode and human-visible mode). When operating in human-visible mode, this sensor will give you readings that are close to what your eyes feel. Due to its high resolution and wide operating temperature range, you can use it to measure the light intensity in different lighting environments, which is compatible with many popular microcontrollers.
