AJMRTC MCP23017 IO Expansion Board is a GPIO expander module built around the MCP23017 chip, communicating via the standard I2C interface. The production part number is MCP23017-I2C-IO16. It can expand 16 independent digital I/O pins which can be individually configured as input or output.
Multiple boards can be stacked together by adjusting the I2C address jumpers, so you can expand hundreds of IO pins on a single I2C bus. The module works seamlessly with Raspberry Pi and STM32, with plenty of open-source libraries and sample codes available to speed up development.
It is widely used for relay control panels, LED matrix, multi-button input, industrial signal acquisition and embedded IoT projects. The main controller board is not included. Please confirm your hardware I2C pin definition before wiring.
