AJMRTC 2-Channel Isolated RS485 Expansion HAT adopts SC16IS752 UART expansion chip and SP3485 RS485 transceiver, converting SPI bus into two independent RS485 channels for Raspberry Pi.
It comes with magnetic isolation and power isolation circuits to separate the Raspberry Pi control side and field bus side, effectively eliminating ground loop noise and protecting your mainboard from high-voltage surges. Onboard TVS, resettable fuse and protection diodes offer extra anti-static and lightning protection.
The board supports automatic or manual transmit-receive switching configured by DIP switch, with communication speed up to 921600bps. Stackable HAT form fits Raspberry Pi 40PIN GPIO header directly. It includes power and communication indicator LEDs, and provides Python & C example codes for fast development. Raspberry Pi board is not included.
