    Nordic Semiconductor nRF52840 USB Encryption Module The Nordic Semiconductor nRF52840 USB encryption module is a small wireless hardware device based on the nRF52840 System-on-Chip (SoC), which can be used in conjunction with nRF Connect for Desktop. The nRF52840 encryption module supports programming of the device and can communicate via USB. This encryption module includes a user-programmable RGB LED, user-programmable buttons, and 15 general-purpose input/output (GPIO) pins, which can be accessed through the slot-shaped solder joints at the edge. The nRF52840 encryption module can be updated via USB device firmware update (DFU). This encryption module is suitable for applications using nRF52840's Bluetooth? Low Energy (BLE), Bluetooth Mesh Network, Thread, ZigBee, ANT, and 2.4GHz dedicated applications.
