- The BOOSTXL-DRV8323RS, a 15A three-phase brushless DC driver stage with a buck converter and current-sharing amplifier, is an SPI interface evaluation module for the DRV8323RS three-phase intelligent gate driver (with a separate DC bus and phase voltage sensing, as well as an independent low-side current shunt amplifier). This module is particularly suitable for sensorless BLDC algorithms. The module provides a 3.3V power supply to the MCU via an integrated 0.6A buck regulator. The driver stage is fully protected against short circuits, overheating, breakdown, and undervoltage, and can be easily configured through the device's SPI registers.

BOOSTXL-DRV8323RS is a 15A three-phase brushless DC driver stage (with SPI interface) evaluation module featuring a buck converter and current-sharing amplifier. It is based on the DRV8323RH gate driver and the CSD8859905DC NexFETTM power block. This module has independent DC bus and phase voltage sensing, as well as an independent low-side current-sharing amplifier, making it highly suitable for sensorless BLDC algorithms. The module provides 3.3V power to the MCU via an integrated 0.6A buck regulator. The driver stage is fully protected against short circuits, overheating, breakdown, and undervoltage, and can be easily configured through the device's SPI registers.
Characteristics
Operating voltage range from 6V to 54V, 15A continuous/20A peak H-bridge output current, integrated 600mA voltage regulator with three integrated shunt amplifiers.
It can provide BLDC firmware with or without sensors.
