The white iBUYPOWER Slate is a prebuilt gaming desktop with an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X3D, Radeon RX 9070 GRE 12GB, 32GB DDR5 memory, and a 1TB NVMe SSD, suited to players who want a ready-to-use system for gaming, editing, and streaming.
Recommended For
- PC gamers moving from 1080p to 1440p who want to play current games at high settings; reviews position the RX 9070 GRE primarily for 1440p gaming.
- Competitive and fast-paced game players seeking high-refresh 1080p play, where the X3D gaming CPU and RX 9070 GRE's 1080p performance are a better fit than a 4K-first setup.
- Buyers who want a ready-to-use gaming desktop for a home setup, rather than choosing and assembling parts; Windows 11, a keyboard, and a mouse are listed as included.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- For 1440p gaming, play current single-player titles at high settings; in especially demanding games, lowering a few settings or using upscaling may help keep gameplay smooth.
- For 1080p gaming, play a mix of newer and competitive games at high settings; benchmark results show the graphics card delivering high frame rates in several tested titles, though results vary by game.
- In games with ray tracing, enable the feature selectively and use supported upscaling when needed; the card can handle ray-traced play, but demanding settings may require compromises.
- For gaming on a 4K display, expect to reduce graphics settings or use upscaling in demanding games rather than relying on maximum settings at native 4K.
