It does not come with a case but there are many to choose from I got the cover that switches the unit off when closed it saves alot of weight

You will need to purchase a case separate.  All that is included is the ipad and the charge plug and cable.

It means that you only get an acess to data and internet by WiFi( No network) 
You have to buy a different version of the ipad that supports your network carrier(Sprint) so that you can call or download data just like your iphone. Keep in mind that these ipads usally cost more than WiFi only version pads. I hope this helps.

Clint, if you mean can you have several windows open on the same screen no, but you can several (in excess of 30 apps easy) open that you can open and close without the program closing.
