What phone carriers can be used with this phone?

US ATT worked in there, it was formerly a SIM in an iPhone and needed an adapter to fit in the Asus.  My coworker took it to the UK, and EE SIM did not work in either slot.  The SIM worked in a cheap dumb phone, so I don't think it was the SIM card.

I have T-mobile and it works perfectly, not sure about AT&T.  Recommend just calling an AT&T store and asking whether or not this phone will be compatible, someone should have an answer.  Battery-wise this phone does drain pretty fast, but charging is also quick and easy.  I charge every night, then connect it to my car's usb when I'm driving to and from work, so it never falls below 40% for me even with ample browsing, navigating, calling, texting and video chatting.  Also, there's plenty of room for lots of apps!  I really love this phone!

I have an ATT prepaid phone with one micro SIM card that does data, text, and voice. Will this phone be fully functional with only that SIM card, or do I really need 2?

I actually just started working for at&t. The answer to your question is yes you can use the single SIM in one slot. Make sure you install it in the 4g slot and not the 2g slot. This will help you take advantage of full service speeds.

Not unless there is some super hack I'm not aware of.
I took my phone into an actual Sprint store ...the sales rep said no, but one of the text said let me try it. He put one of their Sims in it...tried for over 20 minutes and could not get it to work.

No this phone is running Android Lollipop only but im sure eventually it will get the Marshmallow update if you look up reviews on Asus's older version of this newer phone one of its highlights is how well Asus keeps its firmware up to date.

Since June 2015, Tracfone have also allowed compatible or unlocked GSM phones to be used on the Tracfone network through the Bring Your Own Device program.
I use my Zenfone on AT&T so you should be good to go.
The short answer is yes!

I have not used Wi-Fi calling with this Zenfone 2 phone, but I can tell you this about this ASUS Zenfone 2. The LCD glass that is supposed to be "Gorilla Glass" is extremely weak!!! I had a very high quality glass protector over the (Supposed) "Gorilla Glass LCD", when both were shattered for no reason. I did not drop phone or hit phone, it happened for no apparent reason. I had the ASUS case protecting this Zen 2 also. The battery is not an easy replacement, nor is the LCD unit. This Zen 2 phone was inexpensive, but you get what you pay for! Pay more now for a more quality phone or pay more to repair the ASUS Zenfone 2 later !!!!!!!!!! ASUS Corp. does not offer any help for your mobile phone they sell, and they are overseas, caring less about your problems with this ASUS Zenfone 2!!!! ASUS Corporation does not offer a replacement LCD for this ZEN 2, you are on your own when this phone needs service. I would recommend paying more money for a more serviceable and a quality mobile phone.

I bought this exact phone and out the box you get the phone of course, proper charging cable, North American warranty manuals, user manuals, and that really it. No screen protectors, carry case, or extra accessories included :( But keep in mind what your paying for the phone and what your still getting, its a tough offer to beat especially when compared to anything Samsung or Apple.
