Question 1

What's the difference between the 4813 and 4812 configs, besides price? The specs look the same.

Accepted Answer

Hi,

The only difference I see is as follows;

The Dell XPS 8700 (X8700-4813BLK) is made for Gaming & Entertainment and the Dell XPS 8700-(4812BLK is made for Student/Home/Office.

The Dell (X8700-4813BLK) comes with Windows 8.0 downgrade And the X(8700-4812BLK) dose not.

This is the only difference I've notice.

Also is a dvi to vga adapter included?

I had to pick up a dvi to vga adapter for it to work. There's two VGA outs, and a HDMI out as well. I'm going to be adding a nice SSD to it soon. However, it's pretty quick out of the box.
