could this be computer monitor? I only see 1 USB prot

You connect a computer by HDMI or a DVI-to-HDMI adapter. Set the aspect ratio after to "Just Scan", then it's just a big monitor. I love LG's for that reason.

Does this TV have a game mode for playing video games?

It does not have a VGA or DVI for using as a computer monitor.  Can it be used as a computer monitor using another input (HDMI)?

Yes, works fine with HDMI as a PC monitor, that's been it's primary use for me. (That and chrome cast.) I can't speak for its other inputs, however, have not tried them.

Horizontal measurement is just less than 29".
Vertical measurement is just less than 17".
