Question 1

All info I find elsewhere tells me this is 60Hz and not 120Hz so please tell me what's up? Is it 60Hz or 120Hz?

Accepted Answer

The blue banner at the top of this box states the 8200 model is 120Hz. If that is true, I'm surprised it didn't state that anywhere else in the ad or specs. The 8500 series ads have it posted everywhere in the ads and specs. Since it's not found, I find it hard to believe the banner above and I feel the 8200 is probably only 60Hz. IMO.

Question 2

This may be a stupid question but could i use this for my computer? Would Asus 980 Strix in SLI be good enough?

Accepted Answer

You could, but tv's only use HDMI and I'm not sure if these are HDMI 2.0 ports or only 1.4. HDMI 1.4 only supports 4k at 30Hz and HDMI 2.0 supports 4k at 60Hz. Imo, you're better off going with a 4k monitor at this point.
