Q: whats the refresh rate? I'm seeing 120Hz on the overview page and 60Hz on the specifications page whats that about?

Refresh rate is 60hz, not the 120hz advertised on the overview page. I had my doubts when I read "Enhanced Motion Rate 120hz". Bought it anyway because the price was so absurdly low. Still a solid TV.

Yes, there are screw holes for a standard mount assembly on the back of the TV.  You'll have to get the mount separately though.

Is this changhong 40 inch 1080p led hdtv 120hz refresh or not??
One review said it was 60hz but the advert says 120.  Which is it?

Is anyone here going to report Newegg to the Better Business Bureau for false advertisement? If it's definitely not 120Hz refresh rate as advertised we all really should. I bought this TV strictly for PC Gaming and PC Gaming alone. I could have bought a real computer monitor for this price.

Does this TV have the screw holes on the back to attach a bracket to hold a soundbar above the TV?

Hi John,

I own this TV and just looked at the back.  It has the 4 screw holes that you would use to attach to a mounting bracket.  They appear to be the same holes that are used with adjustable universal soundbar brackets.  I bought the TV about 8 months ago and am very happy with the purchase.  If anything at all, the sound could use some improvement.

I have two of these connected to an Apple TV with a Sewell 1x2 HDMI splitter and a MacBook with a Matrox DualHead2Go. One of the tv's is connected to a DA-E750 speaker doc. It's great, I can route the computer or the TV through either TV or both, to the speaker, I can even connect the ATV as a second monitor and the resolution is very nice. I use Citrix to connect to work which involves text editing, terminals, documents. No gaming. I'm happy.

How do you compare to Samsung and other major brands?

It's no Samsung but it works fine and my kids have no problem playing games and watching HDTV on it. What I mean by not a Samsung is that I have both the Sammy in the living room and this one in the kids room . Put them side by side and the Sammy wins . Alone in another room and you can't see any differences (you have nothing to compare it against) All in all it was well worth the money . No let downs as far as I can see. Hope it helps

I don't have Directv.  Verizon was 0792.  Same code was used for Apex Digital, Celera, Polaroid and KLH.  Maybe you can find the dierctv code for one of those brands?

I plan to wall mount it but have not done it yet. Its VESA 200X200 standard configuration so there should not be a problem with mounting it. Will update you once i have. P.S - Cheetah mounts are pretty sturdy, come with all needed parts for mounting and Great quality HDMI cable at a great price (<30$)
