i like to know what Mother board do i need for this memory?

I used the x99 series type Mobo.  But, any mobo that can take DDR4 2400 type memory standard will do.  I did some research, but, trying to filter it via the style of "2400" won't help you.  Just go into the mobo specs and read what memory standards it can accept.  Hope that helps you :)

Question 2

Is this ram truly ddr4-2400? I ask because if you look at the label on the ram, it says ddr4-2400 but just under that it says ddr4-2100. I don't know anything about this new ram so this label is confusing.

This is because DDR4 ram was released at the base speed of 2133. Any DDR4 set you buy that's advertised at a higher speed is technically overclocked. The XMP standard allows you to go into supported motherboards, which are pretty common these days, and to select the XMP setting for the memory. This sets an "overclock" for the right timings and speed. Any memory you buy advertising a higher speed from a well known manufacturer with an XMP setting is guaranteed to work at this "overclocked" speed. DDR3 was similar. If you search for Intel XMP white paper on Google and click the first result, you'll find an official description from Intel of the standard. Refer to your motherboard manual to see if XMP is supported and how to set a profile to be used.
