To carry the design inspiration further the design engineers studied automotive air intakes when designing the front vents to maximize air flow. They’ve also put a scoop on the side to help with ventilation.
Underneath that side scoop is a design feature that takes a good idea and makes it a great one. The air duct for the CPU fan is adjustable. You can move it so that it is exactly centered over the fan for maximum cooling efficiency. The scoop also covers the side vent diffusing the air to reduce the overall noise level for the system.
