I noticed the 3 fan slots on the top of the case and noticed the 2 in the front of the case as well as the 2 located in the middle and rear of the case. How many fans could I possibly install in this case?

the case comes with fans in these positions:

* front grill: 2 × 140 mm, with filters
  * front 5.25" bays (bottom 3): 1 × 140 mm, with filter
  * in front of video cards: 1 × 140 mm
  * rear grill: 1 × 120 mm

in addition, there is room for mounting additional fans in these positions:

* top: 3 × 120 mm

also, there is a 140 mm filtered grill in the bottom, directly below the PSU mount point, for the PSU air intake.

in total, the case comes with 4 × 140 mm fans and 1 × 120 mm fan.  if you add fans to all of the optional mount points and count your PSU as providing 1 × 140 mm fan, then the total comes to 5 × 140 mm and 4 × 120 mm.  that's 9 fans!

this tally doesn't include whatever fans might be attached to your CPU, GPU, etc.  at this price point, you might consider liquid cooling instead of those, especially if you intend to keep this in a room where you also listen to audio.  with liquid cooling, additional case fans exhibit more steeply diminishing returns, since very little of the heat escapes into the case.

all of the stock fans are removable, and they all push a considerable amount of air while emitting practically no noise.

lots of extra room for all cables and video cards (even the longest)
only problem was some power cords where at there max in length to reach the plug-ins on the motherboard
