1. Well, that is balckplane’s job; meanwhile case is not really designed to support hot-plug 2. No top fan there 3. Can easily handle EATX motherboard, so just be careful with height of heatsink That’s it

Can it fit a 420 (3x140mm) radiator?

Not to sure about a 420mm rad but the bottom can handle a 480mm rad, very little to no difference in performance.

Can this fit 480mm radiator inside the case without modding?

I'm running a Corsair h100i in it at the top which is a 240mm liquid cooler. There are other spots around the case but what 480 mm radiator are you thinking of and i will measure it?

This case or the Fractal design XL?

I shopped for some time before deciding on the GS-6700. Preference and necessity is key.

the thickness of the metal has to be close to 1/16 of an inch.
