I love this case! 3/29/2017 7:58:44 AM

Pros: Perfect size!

Cons: Not tempered glass. Prone to scratches. I keep gaming controllers on top of it so I guess it doesn't matter.

Overall Review: Set this up with a custom water loop. I have 2x 240mm on each side. EK blocks on a 7700k and 1080ti. I downsized from a full size CL case so I have more room in VR. Not sure why Lian Li discontinues their cases so quickly.. I would love to buy another for another room.

Great SMB Server Case 5/11/2016 9:06:33 AM

Pros: Stays very cool, easy to work with, can fit a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler.

Cons: Max. 64gig of RAM

Overall Review: I'm using this as a Hyper-V server with 64gig RAM and Samsung 850 Pro SSD drives running (6) 2012 R2 VMs. Runs perfectly stable, cool and quiet.

Typical Lian Li--not cheap, but you get what you pay for 2/6/2016 7:08:00 PM

Pros: Like all the Lian Li cases I have seen, the fit and finish is great. Literally the whole thing comes apart--remove the 4 thumbscrews holding the acrylic cover on, slide the side and front panels up and out of their slots, and all you've got left is the base plate, the back, and the four corner posts, so assembly is trivial without the usual knuckle-busting. The top is totally transparent and about a third of the front is a window, so it's easy to see what's inside and whether the fans are spinning. At idle with the stock fans it's whisper quiet. I don't need the additional fans with this particular build, but there are room for four more fans--two on each side. The mobo mounts horizontally about halfway up, with everything else underneath--there's a bit of wasted space, but it means that you can stuff all the extra PSU and peripheral wiring down under the mobo tray where it's not visible and doesn't hurt airflow. And with nothing but the clear acrylic top above the mobo, there's over 150mm of headroom for a CPU cooler and plenty of room for two big GPUs. I just have one EVGA GeForce GTX 960 and a less-than-huge Noctura CPU cooler in there and it looks cavernously empty. Two USB3 ports on the front.

Cons: Only two minor annoyances: The only externally accessible bay is sized for a slim optical drive, which sits on the rock bottom of the case, about 1/2" above the desk--so you can't set anything on the desk in front of the unit or you won't be able to access the disc tray. And for almost 200 bucks, you'd think they could afford a reset button.

Overall Review: It's fairly big (about a 12" x 12" x 12" cube) so it eats up more horizontal desk space than even a big tower, but since it's only 12" deep it gives you more room in front of it (especially if you don't have an optical drive--see above). The mobo tray is removable but there's basically no need to do so, since with the front and side panels removed, everything underneath it is accessible from three sides. As another commenter noted it's flimsy when the sides are off but it's a rock solid cube when the sides and top are on.

V359WB 7/8/2015 3:43:37 PM

Pros: The Lian Li PC-V359WB Mid Tower Chassis was larger than I than I needed but I like the fact that all cables are hidden below the motherboard shelf and are only visible when they need to be plugged into the motherboard. Fan placement is nice and runs very cool and quiet with the two preinstalled fans. Would highly recommend this chassis.

Cons: The slimline CD is in the bottom right of the system. I was going to have the system on the floor but put it on a desk during installation for easy access to the CD.

Great case for showing off a mATX build 6/18/2015 11:02:40 PM

Pros: - Aluminum
- Build Quality is standard Lian Li
- Love the layout.
- Fits NH-D14
- Fits ATX PSU
- Plenty of HDD space for me.
- Lot's of fan intake space.
- Fan Filters.
- Stock fans are pretty good.

Cons: - Acrylic pieces are prone to scratching, but it takes a bit to scratch it.
- Not the biggest fan of the fan filter and placement, but that may not bother you.
- Still on the fence with slim ODD. I feel they could have gotten away with a full size 5.25 or nothing to look better.
- Looks great for HTPC, but not great for sound proofing.
- Honestly hard to find much to fault in this case so far.

Overall Review: Great looking case to show off a build. Lian Li quality as always. Aluminum build is still my favorite. Was very easy to build within and change or upgrade if I need to.

Solid, Clean, Small 6/2/2015 8:11:16 AM

Pros: - Very clean looking
- No plastic parts
- Brushed Aluminum
- Solid, but not heavy
- Small
- Intakes have filters
- SLI or Cros [with proper board]

Cons: No major cons for case, but here are some things to watch out for...

- If your going to use the slim drive be conscious of your PSU length and cables to slim drive
- If your installing liquid cooling front panels USB/audio wires can get in way of tubes ONLY when sliding front panel up, UNLESS your rad is in back

Overall Review: If you plan on doing SLI or Crossfire in this case make sure you use a mobo that does its second PCI-E on slot 3, NOT slot 4. Many [even m-atx] boards have that 1 slot gap. You want a board that puts cards on top of each other, leaving only >5 millimeter of GPU separation. An example of this type of board is the ASUS Maximus Gene VII

2nd Review - SLI Caution 2/13/2015 1:13:35 PM

Pros: My rating of 4 still stands. It really is a nice look when you have everything connected, and replacing the rear 120mm fan with an LED 120mm is all the lighting you need to make a nice display. Routing cables is very easy, with plenty of space still to play with, and the case will also hold up to 12" cards in the PCI-E slot, however . . . see con below

Cons: You cannot use two dual-slot video cards (SLI bridged cards using current generation GPU cards which take up two slots, one for venting and extra DVI port) without getting the hacksaw out. The far PCI-E (on the edge of the motherboard) can only accommodate a single slot card because both the rear cover and the plastic post it slides in and out of cover part of the card. You can get it to work, but it will take a little time.

Overall Review: Since I only use one card, no issue for me. Just another thing to be aware of.

Great case . . . but a few gotchas 2/3/2015 3:24:20 PM

Pros: I love Lian Li cases in general; my last build was a PC-V351B Black MicroATX Case, and wanted another microATX case that I did not have to hacksaw for a new build with a decent graphics card.
1, This case is a slightly larger cube, very easy construction to work with: take off the top, and the sides slide right out.
2. Has plenty of air ventilation, comes stock with two 120mm fans at front and rear, and the rear fan is positioned to suck air across the CPU heatsink.
3. Has sufficient space for a fairly large CPU heatsink, though I would be careful with size. You might want to make an aircooled heatsink your last purchase after measuring height from top of cpu to top of case, about 140mm.
3. Can accommodate large graphic cards, up to 12", and can accommodate an SLI bridge.
4. Nice view from windows at the front and the entire top.
5. Plenty of space to make a clean routing of all cables.

Cons: 1. NOTE: This is a slim drive bay for CD/DVD. Slim drives are generally more expensive, and sometimes the cables are odd. So make sure you know what drive you are ordering and have the right cables. You could hacksaw the opening for a standard DVD drive (only if you are good with sanding down edges), but then you have a length issue because it will be right up against the power supply - very, very tight and will only work with a compact power supply. This point drops it to four stars because I think they could have figured out a full size drive - which is what I have in the PC-V351 case which is smaller.

2. Some of the screws are very small, such as the ones that hold the motherboard into the back panel, and the ones holding the front fan casing together.

Overall Review: Given space at bottom of case between slim DVD drive and power supply, I would go ahead a buy a compact power supply. Cooler Master makes a semi-modular PSU that is only 5.5 inches long for a 650W; something like that.

The motherboard is horizontal and seated about halfway up the cube - the power supply, HDD cage, front fan, and slim dvd drive are underneath the motherboard.

Would still recommend the case (on sale of course, retail is a little much), it is pretty and a nice cube look.
