beautiful case

Pros: glass on metal with black finish is perfect

Cons: can be a bit meticulous to assemble.
could not figure out how to screw in a H50 closed loop water cooler in so right now it's just not screw in.

Overall Review: obviously a bit pricy so don't buy it if you're a NEET living in your mums basement leeching off her checkbook

Amazing design, great craftsmanship, awesome talking piece, with some minor nitpicks

Pros: - Looks completely amazing. Quality and Craftsmanship 10/10.
- Amazing design. Lots of thought went into the placement locations of each component.
- Feels very rugged and heavy.
- Ships with a great assortment of screws and spare parts, including cable routing accessories.
- 4 USB 3.0 slots on front
- Plenty of mounting options for hard drives.

Cons: - It's heavy when assembled (which is both good and bad)
- The top shroud is really tough to get on/off. If you've got a water loop installed, it's even harder. You have to take the shround off, then remove the radiator from inside the shroud, and then you can get at your fans.
- The power supply has only 3 height adjustments, meaning you need a short power cable inside to clear your radiator, even on the lowest height setting.
- Airflow is a problem - this case is easily 5-10C higher temps than my previous cases. No fans on the bottom or sides means limited fresh ariflow into the case. Wish they could have holes on the bottom with 80mm fans to blow air up through the case.
- No rubber seals separating the main compartment from the thin back cable routing compartment.
- No reset button
- Limited PCI and PCIe connection points. If you have SLI GPUs, you won't have any extra slots for other cards.
- Expensive!
- Long installation time

Overall Review: - I would absolutely recommend this case for a PC enthusiast with a lot of case building experience. This case is NOT for new builders. I've built dozens of systems in my day, and this one takes the cake for complexity of installation. It took me a whole weekend to properly set all of my components. However, the finished product is definitely worth it! The case looks stunning and is the first windowed case I've seen that can properly display not only my mainboard, but my GPUs too! (You can see the top of the card now!) Highly recommend as a great project for enthusiasts.

The most beautiful case on the market

Pros: This case is absolutely stunning. It looks amazing especially if you manage your wires well, which is pretty much a must as the side is all glass. Led strips, which are fairly cheap, are a great addition as well to make this case shine. I bought a cheap $15 set with a remote and was really worth it. The case is a bit hard to assemble, see cons, however I think it is totally worth it. The glass feels super strong and durable, and is tempered glass. Note that as this case is very thin width wise, ie, front and back sides, the parts are mounted differently. It comes with a pcie extension cable for your graphics card, which does mount on the bottom of the case on a separate rack inside of the case. More notes in the other section about the case layout. When I bought this, it was missing the large thumb screws that hold in the glass side panel. I was able to use other screws, but I contacted the company and they mailed me screws free of charge no questions asked.

Cons: Assembling the case and fitting all the parts in it nicely is hard as this case is very thin, The top part comes off which makes it kind of hard when putting a liquid cooling radiator on. This case takes time and effort to put together. Its not super simple, and making it nice takes a lot of work. But trust me, when you get everything in there and all nice and neat, it will make you proud. NOTE: if you have pcie cards or anything that uses a slot, you will have to buy an extension cable as all pcie items are mounted on the bottom of the case. This case comes with ONLY one extension cable and its for a graphics card. pcie cards will NOT fit on the motherboard like normal as the case's width will not allow it.

Overall Review: Yes i would definitely recommend this case but mainly to people who know what they are doing. It isnt as simple as most cases. But it is an extremely nice case and will make you the awe of all your friends.

Overpriced - Can't use it as promised

Pros: Looks great
Good build quality, except for little screws which are too soft
Wow factor

Cons: WAY overpriced. Honestly, the price makes no sense. A normal form-factor case with the same build quality would be half the price. The build quality is good, don't get me wrong, but not so over-the-top good that the cost can be justified. I wouldn't even be harping on the cost so much if Lian Li didn't also cheap out on accessories. The whole point of this case for a lot of people is the ability to mount it on the wall; you need to buy the part that lets you do that separately. They tout the ability to use an SLI configuration in the case; you need to buy the special PCI-E extender cable separately to be able to do that. For as much money as they are charging for this case, only a maniac would have decided not to include these items in the box. Even this nonsense could be forgiven, but Lian Li is not making these parts available through any means that I can find. Any store that actually lists the PCI-E cable lists it as backordered. I get no response when communicating with Lian Li through their web site. The guy who runs Lian Li's social media presence is a pretty surly guy that can't seem to actually help in any way.

Overall Review: Save your money, buy a normal case. I'm out $400. I can't do SLI. I can't mount the thing on the wall. If I could go back in time I would prevent myself from buying this case and then go back and prevent the founder of Lian Li from being born.

As much a Joy as it is a Challenge!

Pros: Pure eye-candy, this case is one of the few that are packing tempered glass for a side-panel, and the case's build is very solid despite being made out of brushed aluminum.

There's a considerable amount of configuration options that are available for the components you're going to quite literally squeeze into this thing, and I have to applaud Lian-Li for the Power Supply bracket that allows you to position your PSU into one of four different locations (three up top, one on bottom near the HDD basket). There's also 35mm for cable management space behind the motherboard tray, making cable routing a breeze.

The top of the case is built to accommodate water cooling, unlike the other tempered glass cases on the market, and should be considered a huge selling point to anyone looking for a case of this caliber who need a top mount for AIO's or Custom Loops. There's also a filter that's easy to slide in and out, though it requires you to separate the top from the rest of the case to access it.

Overall, this case is extremely unique and presented a wonderful challenge in terms of build process. While I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with an intro-level building experience; anyone who knows their way around a computer build will surely enjoy the fruits of their efforts!

It attracts a considerable amount of attention at LAN parties, which can both be a good thing and a bad thing in some circumstances!

Cons: -Radiator
There's roughly 60mm of depth for radiators, but that also includes your FAN'S THICKNESS! Check Lian-Li's website for the dimensions. Most AIO's shouldn't have a problem, but if you have a Swiftech H220-X like me, the only way to mount it is to position it as far right as possible - with the pump closest to the faceplate.

-Power Supply
Your PSU can be mounted facing one of two directions - but you have to consider space for your power plug too! There's a mounting bracket for the PSU, and it can be installed in one of four locations (three up top, one above the HDD Basket).

Due to my H220-X AIO and the fact that its pump is attached to the radiator, using the bottom mount was the only way to get it to fit and it will be a close call. Under normal circumstances however, the case will support PSU's about 220mm long.

Also note that your PSU's color will bleed through the front panel if its not black.

-Graphics/Add-on Card(s)
The back panel shield is cut oddly; its going to be nearly impossible to attach any cables to the slot that faces closest to the glass UNLESS you remove the back shield. Lian-Li could've made the cutout a little bigger but this shouldn't be a deal breaker.

You're also going to need PCI-E riser units for any additional cards you're going to install. The case supports 4 risers, but only ONE riser is included with the case. Its also relatively short, making it impossible to reach the top most PCI-E slot of most motherboards; which can cause some incompatibilities.

If you're using an ASUS Rampage IV Extreme board like myself, do NOT install it in the bottom most PCI-E slot, as its only 8x and could potentially cause POST problems!

-Cooling
The case isn't very deep, so air cooling is limited. There's roughly 85mm of space between the board and glass.

It's fairly compact inside, so you should expect some heat to bleed through the case itself. Your PSU will heat up the front panel and while it might be warm to the touch, it shouldn't damage anything.

By default, the fans on top are set to blow air OUT of the case from the top. This negates the purpose of the filter that's installed there. If you're mounting an AIO, don't forget to flip those fans. That way, you're making use of the filter as well as utilizing fresh air from outside the case versus pushing heated case air through your radiator!

A 140mm fan can be installed on the aluminum side panel opposite of the tempered-glass side. This will help blow cool air into the case and also includes a filter.

Remember, your PSU WILL BE EXHAUSTING HOT AIR into the case's interior. Position your cooling solutions accordingly!

-Case
My biggest gripe about the case is that there's no reset button on the case's front panel. While superficial, this can become an overclocker's nightmare as there's no quick way to reset the system without pulling the physical plug! Accessing your PSU's hard-switch is impossible since its fully housed within the cas

Overall Review: The included instructions should be given a good reading, as a lot of the cases features need to be accessed in specific ways. This will also help you in figuring out how components should be installed as well. Besides, how many cases give you instructions these days?

Also, when I first received this case, it arrived in a damaged state as the tempered glass was chipped in the upper right-hand corner. The glass didn't shatter, but the chipped damage was very evident.

While Newegg instructed me to RMA the WHOLE package, I instead opted to ask Lian-Li for a direct replacement. The next business day I received an email reply from Lian-Li stating that a new pane of tempered glass was en-route to me free of charge. Absolutely incredible support from them, and I'd strongly recommend any of their products to anyone who's interested.

Thank you, Lian-Li, for designing yet another show-stopping piece of gear and for your incredible customer support!

Beauty is Pain

Pros: So beautiful. Solid build and as always Lian Li innovation. This case is very modular and has room to accommodate water cooling components and I've personally managed to fit 12 SSD (with double sided tape). Truly in love with the case.

Cons: This is where I get the red marker. It obviously has room for improvement and at the price range it clearly falls short of what is expected.
- Only one PCI-e riser cable (should have included two)
- No reset button (if you need one)
- No Hot-Swap bay structure
- Fancy lights not included (pain to order direct from Lian Li)
- Very expensive for what it is
- Poor air flow cooling (fan direction does not improve cooling)
- Terrible dust control
- Power cable must be threaded through computer case(should have gone with Power cable extender)
- Does not include feet to lay flat
- Fans are not silent
- Filter does nothing if you are pushing air out of top

Overall Review: If i could redo this buy I would still buy it again. It is clearly a beautiful case and I guess I'm very shallow. This case is better off with water cooling so I guess its time to upgrade. I guess if you throw enough money at this case you'll get something you will be proud of. Let me say this again: "I LOVE THIS CASE" but if you're strap for cash avoid at all costs.
