does it have a motherboard?

You Will need a power supply, hard drive, processor, memory, and mother board, to make it complete. Will then need mouse, keyboard, and monitor to make it a computer. It dose not have a mother board, but is a great case for the price I have two of in operation daily for some time with  zero problems

Question 2

Can anyone tell me how many fans this case comes with and if it is enough for cooling any build?

You have to watch which one you buy. The case comes with only one fan in front where the blue LED light is displayed. You have to check off the other options to add the extra fans. So far, with a good heat sink (I have a Cooler Master heat sink as well; it's a huge mother of a heat sink, but awesome!), the one large fan that comes with the cheapest version works fantastically. There is enough ventilation going on with this thing that I feel you don't require an extra fan. Again, get a very good heat sink and you won't really have to worry about buying the extra fans. I love this case by the way; it looks really cool and it is super easy to install new drives and other parts because of a neat little rail-and-clip system it utilizes. I give this case a 5 out of 5. Don't let other tech geeks tell you that you need more cooling (unless you're making some sort of beast machine build). Here in the Northeast it's becoming summer and my CPU is currently averaging about 14-18 degrees Celsius. Again, a lot depends on what kind of heat sink you get anymore. My opinion is that in this day and age fans only offer an extra bit of supplementary cooling. Get some Arctic Silver thermal paste and a good heat sink and you're good to go. Hope my response helps!

Question 3

I must have bought 6 haf 912s, now someone mentioned the side panel is riveted on the right side? why would they do something like that? can they be drilled out? must be saving the cost of the thumb screws.

The right side panel isn't riveted. As a cost-saving measure, it looks like Cooler Master opted to use standard screws on the right side panel, while only using thumb screws with the left side panel. That's why they look different in the image. It would be rather silly for them to advertise space for cable management and then bolt the panel to the chassis.

The only difference I know of between the HAF 912 and the Blue edition is the 120mm blue LED front intake fan and the single USB 3.0 port in the front I/O. I only own the blue, though, so I can't say for sure.

any opinions on this? haf 912 or ostrog gt? I plan on removing all the hard drive bays and putting the hard drive in an optical bay, then mounting a radiator in the front.

This a great case for the price.  I've built several systems in this case with various corsair & thermaltake water coolers with no problems.  I would thoroughly research compatiblity of the radiator setup you plan to use, as this case does not have the mounting holes for a 240mm or 280mm radiator.  I'm not familiar with the Ostrog GT; it looks similar but has more front panel usb ports.  If you're using a corsair water cooler, google 'corsair comatibility thread'; it's a forum thread that lists all corsair water cooling products and the cases that fit them.

Will A corsair h110 fit in this case with enough clearence to mount the fans?

Unfortunately, the H110 will not fit; the top mounting holes on the case will not align with the radiator to mount.  I went with the Corsair C70, which will support a dual 120mm radiator.  Also, do a google search for 'corsair compatibility thread'; it's a thread that lists every case that's compatible with every corsair water cooler (with pics); it should save you a lot of headaches. (I wish I'd seen it BEFORE I bought the HAF912 & the H110).

Aside from that, this is an excellent case that I've used for many builds with the Corsair H55, H60 & the H80i.  I don't believe it supports any dual fan radiators without some minor modding.
