Can it fit a regular sized ATX Power Supply?

It is a very tight squeeze with the power supply and CD-ROM drive. At first I gave up but then needed my cd rom so I figured it out but it was a very tight squeeze

Can you use the ASUS A78M-A FM2+ AMD A78 (Bolton D3) HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard with this case?

Kevin, the Asus MoBo your looking at will fit inside that case. However depending on where you mount your hard drive(s), you may find the space for your RAM slightly obstructed. Also the size of your heatsink will be limited to the capacity of this case. And I would recommend upgrading the cooling system, it comes with some very small fans. The corsair carbide 200r is an excellent option right now, on sale at Newegg.

Can this thing use an ATX power supply?

Yes.  Just about any tower box that claims ATX compatibility supports an ATX power supply. The micro in microATX refers to the size (length) of the motherboard.  A microATX box will hold a microATX board (four expansion slots) but not a full-sized ATX board (seven expansion slots).  MicroATX boxes also have fewer drive slots (usually two 5.25" and two 3.5" and perhaps one 2.5") and because they are smaller, they offer fewer options to cool your computer.  So if I were using a very fast and very power-hungry video card with a thousand-watt power supply to support it, then I won't choose a microATX box.   But if your using less, microATX is fine.

Description says it has external 2x 5.25" bays but the picture shows only 1. Is there a second bay hidden or was there an error in description?

typo.  there are (2) 5.25" bays, one excessable to the outside for dvd, one internal only.  There are (3) 3.5" bays, one of them also excessable to the outside for an old style floppy, or newer style multi-function (SD, etc) unit.  So there are 2 external, but only one is 5.25".  
Its a really nice case for the money, and would recommend, but get the one without the PS (this one) and add your own.

Does it come with a dvd drive? why does it say dvd player on the front?

My case has a switch and fold down panel for access to the DVD drive.  It did not come with a DVD drive.  I had to remove the front bezel from my drive to mount it in the case.  Not a typical arrangement but it works OK

I am curious as to if the rear plate where the motherboard slides in is removable so I can put my own plate in place that will fit my motherboard directly because this one does not have the same component slots, thanks?

How does that 'media' eject button work?  I have a hard time seeing the mechanism , does the front panel spring open at the bottom?  If that a false button that doesn't work?  What woudl be a good drive for that mechanism to work?

When the eject button is pressed the front panel (including the button) opens up and the disk tray comes out. You have to push directly on the tray itself to make it go back into the computer.

Does the 80mm intake fan at the front have a dust filter?

There are no dust filters on either fan. The front fan is pretty useless since there are no openings on the front of the case (except for a small hand hold on the bottom to remove the front piece). I completely removed the front fan and have noticed no major difference in temps.

Question 10

Does this case have standoffs for the motherboard to prevent short circuiting on the case?

Yes, but it does not come with the phillips head to hex adabter, so hopefully you already have one, or are okay with it being hand tight
