Antec Two Hundred Black ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Fantastic airflow. With optional fans could be considered near as good as the 900 in terms of cooling power. The new Two-cool fans are run off a 2 speed switch (duh) at the very top edge of the case on the back, so they are very convenient to get to. There are also knock-outs for watercooling in the back, although they need some u-channel trim covering in order to not cut your tubing. The overall build quality is typically Antec. it's no Lian-Li, but then again, what is? They put the same quality into this one as I have seen in the P182 and 300, but like those, there are some sharp edges. Most edges are rolled-over, but I did get a nick or two while doing cable management. Cable management is excellent, or at least it is if you put in the time. I hid every wire without having to dremmel everything You can get to the back of the socket on the mobo to assemble CPU coolers with a backplate without taking out the board. I feel it is even more convenient than a removable motherboar

Cons: The finish does show fingerprints under close scrutiny, but not nearly as bad as I have seen with other cases. The front bezel is rough to the touch as if it is prepped for painting. I was not too crazy over this fact, so I deducted an egg for it. if I want to paint it, I'll prep it myself, thank you. I had to order a couple of header panel extension cables from a mod shop because the front panel HD Audio and the USB on the motherboard was at the very bottom left corner of the board, and it would not reach without stretching directly across the video card. All the front panel connectors could stand to be a bit longer. I also would have liked it if the slot covers came with the case, as it only has the knock-outs that cannot be put back in if removed. If I had enough matching slot covers around here, I would have knocked them all out and replaced them. I didn't, so I only knocked out the ones I needed to. Do yourself a favor and order some cheap slot covers with this case.

Overall Review: Grabbed one for a customer budget build for the simple fact that I have never seen one before. I figured I would give it a fair shake and donate a little time to do a proper review. This case begs to be modded, but the customer wasn't paying so I wasn't doing. I would love to get a chance for myself, though. I have been building systems for years, so I have just about seen it all. It does not have a tooless design, but I prefer them not too. I have had too many of the cheap plastic pins and clips break and have to use screws anyway, leaving you with a shoddy looking job. After all, real men know how to turn a screw. :) Not at all a con for the case, but the pictures on Newegg do not do this case justice. It looks far better in person. I almost canceled the order right after placing it because a couple of people I know didn't like it from these pics. I am very glad I didn't cancel. The case worked out great and the customer is extremely satisfied. (Like always) ;)

Pros: This is a great case for almost anyone. It's cheap, looks great, and has great airflow. The specs don't say it and it's hard to tell from the pictures, but if you don't already know there are places for two 120mm fans at the front of the case. Contrary to some of the other reviews, the front foam dust filter IS REMOVABLE. It's held in place by folded parts of the metal grill. You just slip it out from under them. The front of the case, aside from looking great, has a unique texture. I like it, but that's personal preference I suppose. The only way to describe it is textured spray paint, if you've ever used it. The fans that come with the case are new Antec TwoCool fans. If you couldn't guess, they're two-speed fans. The switches are on the back of the case. They're nearly silent. With the side of the case off and only the fans and PSU running, I could just barely hear them on high.

Cons: The first and biggest con I have with this case is that it was dented during shipping since there wasn't much space between the side of the box and the case itself. Thankfully it wasn't anything very noticable, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. There isn't a dust filter on the side panel, which is expected, though a bit silly. The grill sticks out a bit from where a fan would be, though, so you could add one without much trouble. As others have said, the case shows fingerprints. Nothing major as long as you don't plan to be touching the top/sides all the time. Not toolless, but that's a non-issue for most people. Along with the fingerprints, this only really matters if you're going to be in and out of your case all the time.

Overall Review: What does UPS do that could possibly damage shipped items so often? Do they employ deranged people who like to kick every package as it goes by? At least the dent is small and only 1/8 inch deep. Not worth the money it'd take to have the case replaced. This is a great case for anyone who isn't planning to be in and out of their computer every week. It's cheap and cool - in both senses of the word. You can use the twist-ties that come on the fan cables to tie route the two power cables to the upper right corner of the rear fan, then down and to the left corner. They'll hang down right next to your PSU.

Pros: - All edges are folded - Pre-Mounted standoffs, only had to add one more myself - Front mesh and design is very nice - Comes with all the right screws, paper washers - Comes with two pre-installed fans that are really quiet, one 120mm on the back and then a 140mm on the top - Accepts a 120mm on the left side panel - LED's are blue - Thumb screws for side panels

Cons: - Headphone/Mic cables to hook up the front panel audio are too short to reach my mobo's pin header so they are not hooked up, didn't plan to use them anyways. It looks like they would reach if my graphics card was small, but it is very large. However, cables for the Front panel switches, leds and USB were long enough. - Would prefer the HDD to be more flush with the case when plugged into the hot swap bay, no big deal. - HDD LED is not aligned to the hole in the case resulting in a "muted" appearance, plan to take the front panel off and see if I can adjust that. - Need to remove place holders to put in mobo I/O panel, this has sharp edges and could cut you, be careful. The same for the PCIe/PCI slot covers in the back. Would like to have seen easier to remove slot protectors, ones with screws.

Overall Review: Better than any other case I've ever owned, and the cheapest as well, got it on sale for $40 on Newegg. Always had favorable results with Antec products so I will continue to purchase them. It has a 3 pin Power LED connector, this could be a problem if your mobo only supports two pin power LED like the ASRock that I use. Depending on board, you can "hack" the 3 pin plug. You simply look at the back of the plug, notice how there are plastic tabs, if you lift the tab on the positive cable (blue) you can actually slide the metal connecting plug from the 3 pin casing. Then after that you slide it into the middle pin hole, which will be empty, now you have essentially a 2 pin Power LED, but it will only work if the now empty pin slot can hang off the edge of the pin header.

Pros: - cheap - light - 2 dual speed fans - adequate space

Cons: - metal cut outs for PCI slots are "remove only" - air filtration mesh not removable, however still cleanable with vacuum.

Overall Review: Don't expect miracles with this case. That being said, it's a solid value and manages to keep all my components nice and cool. If you need more cooling, there are a few spaces to place more 120mm fans. Pros: Great cooling with good 120mm rear fan and 140mm top fan. Included fans come with manual 3 speed control on rear of case. Has mounts for two more 120mm fans in front of case and one more 120mm on the side vent. Kudos for only extra 120mm mounts and not 92mm or 80mm.

Cons: Hard drives mount front to back which causes a conflict with full length video cards -> especially if front 120mm fans are used. If you put fans on the front you have to move the drives back one mounting screw. There isn't a slide mount for the screws so you can't adjust the drive location front to back a bit and use thin 120mm fans; there are just fixed screw holes. Some video cards will not fit with the hard drives pushed back over the motherboard.

Overall Review: I was able to manage by using the molex 4pin (white) power cables for the sata drives as those weren't covered by the video cards. Video cards with longer full board coolers would have hit the drives though.

Pros: HUGE breather. Great airflow. Kinda cool design in a Darth Vader kind of way2 . For the money, I don't think you can do better. LOVE the 2 built in fans (120mm & 140mm) which are switchable for induction or exhaust easily from convenient switches on the back of the case. I mounted 3 additional 120mm fans in the available case locations as well. Really can't get the thing HOT now. Too much airflow :)

Cons: I don't really like (or will use) the hot swap SATA HDD caddy in the front and would have MUCH preferred a standard 3.5 inch bay there for my Multi-Memory card plate. Even so, I pulled the STAT bridge and mounted the Milti-Memory card drive anyway.

Overall Review: At $39.99 this is the BEST deal, I think, for a great case. The 3.5 drive thing is the ONLY reason I dropped an egg.

Pros: The skeleton is very solid rolled edges . I run the fans on low because this is not a real high end PC so it whisper quiet. The 3.5" drive bays are shifted toward you away from the MB pan giving plenty of room to route cables.And swap out a HD with out having to remove MB components . I have 3 HD's mounted with one space between each one plenty of room. I will be ordering a couple more.

Cons: Front panel is not documented . front audio ports you have guess . I guessed right the first time. Front panel is as follows: Reset/Power LED/HD LED/USB/USB/Speaker/Mic/PWR. Front panel lost it an egg.

Overall Review: Just goes with out saying the LED's are polarized so make sure you match you +&-'s or they will not work . If you power supply has a bottom fan you can mount it up side down without having to dill holes they are already there.

Pros: 5 fan support, really useful top duct, comes with 2 fans, decent quality, fan control, hard drive caddy, great ventilation. I only have one fan running on this thing at the moment and my CPU idles at 22 degrees Celsius. Wait until I get the other fans running. It's actually better looking than what people say or what the pictures indicate.

Cons: The front cover is made of a dust-attracting matte finish. If you get anything on this, even just some lint, it will stick and be extremely hard to remove. If you don't want to use a side fan, the honey comb covering is pretty revealing, although this would be a big plus, if you use a fan there.

Overall Review: As the title says, great case for $40. It doesn't have everything, but for $40, you won't get everything. It doesn't look all that bad, in fact I think it looks pretty sharp, especially since I'll have two blue LED fans running in the front.
