Meet the LanBoy Air. Nearly every part on this case, even the motherboard and PSU mounts, is modular and customizable. Up to 15 exhaust fans create positive air pressure inside the case that blows dust and heat out through panel perforations. Up front, the LanBoy Air's AirMounts HDD mounting system literally suspends drives in mid-air for unsurpassable vibration and noise resistance. Along with its two internal 2.5" SSD bays and a front-panel USB 3.0 port, the LanBoy Air is the last word in high-flexibility PC case design.

  • newegg Fully-modular Design What highlights the LanBoy Air is its modular design allowing highly customizable installation. Nearly every panel, including the motherboard tray and the power supply cage, can be removed and relocated to suit your needs.
  • newegg Open-frame Mesh Panel Construction The open-frame mesh panel construction keeps cool air in, dust and heat out for superior cooling performance while preventing dust accumulation.
  • newegg Supreme Expandability plus AirMount HDD Suspension Mount System The Antec LanBoy Air boasts 6 x 3.5’’ drive bays, 3 x external 5.25" HDDs and 2 x internal bottom-mounted 2.5" SSD bay, together with 8 x expansion slots for triple graphics-card configurations. Amazing Case and sleek as hell!

Pros: So get this.. If you keep all your storage in the upper brackets you can fit 12"+ video cards in it, which is pretty much unheard of when it comes to mid towers. Had duel 280x R9s in it card measures 12 1/2".

Cons: My fans gave out really early and had to buy new ones.

The holes in the top were just be enough to fit a gum wrapper that fell off my desk onto the case through the hole and ontop of my 7770 which fried the hell out of it... Accidents happen though.

The Last Case You'll Ever Need

Pros: High quality steel construction, solid as a rock.

Fit and finish are excellent. No pointy edges to cut yourself on. All the fittings and fasteners are high quality. Many, many options for how you can set up your system. Power supply on top or bottom? Check. BTX board? Got you covered. Petabyte raid server? We has the room!

Speaking of drives, they are mounted to little sleds that are then mounted to the case with bungee cords. This induces next to no vibration into the system, making the whole thin whisper quiet.

All fans are adjustable 120mm units, with mount points for more on top if needed.

Cooling concerns are a thing of the past since this thing's skin is 100% mesh except up top.

And it's a looker. It has a certain industrial design flair that will appeal to the sort of people that like case modding but don't own machine shops.

Cons: You need to keep up with your dusting. You really can't mount an air filter to the fans and call it done. Swiffer is your friend.

But I knew that going into this. :)

Other Thoughts: I had my first Lanboy for years. This one looks like it will outlast that by maybe five years. I honestly can't see needing anything else in the foreseeable future.

It's a shame these aren't in stock now. Here's hoping for another run.

get cooling tower

Pros: 2 handles so you can carry it around with if you're going to bring it somewhere
cools tower, everything's under 30C with stock fans and added 1 exhaust fan on top
can add lots of fans

Cons: dust magnet, filters are needed
fan controllers just dangle out
side fan wires touch fan when removing side panel

Great case

Pros: Can do anything you want, put any parts almost anywhere. Very solid customisable case all around!

Had this case for well over a year.

Cons: I have none come to mind. I've read people talk about dust issues, but I think that depends on location and how you have it setup.

Heat Dissipation MASTER

Pros: No where for heat/air to get stuck in your case.
Modular format lets you do whatever you want.
Fits every form factor ever... like ever
Front mounted fans look amazing..
Perfect for anyone who likes to keep the Feng Shui of their case new and exciting.
Very easy to clean.
The handles are a lifesaver when you have to move this behemoth.

Cons: NO cable management. I mean none at all. I have quick release zipties that hold everything slightly in place.
The modular design hinders to use of this case. Each side of the case has two doors. The main door has six screws that you have to take out just to open the case... SIX!! The HDD door has one. If you need to swap something out or tinker it takes time to open the case, not just a quick slide motion like other cases.
Although the Bungee chords are nice to keep your HDDs from shock after a few months the rubber drastically changes color and just doesn't look as good, especially since everyone can see right into your case.
The weight seems a little much for how minimal the construct is.

Other Thoughts: After owning this case for over two years, I have to say its the best case I've ever owned. Yes, it has it's downsides, the biggest being cable management for me. Even with my modular PSU, cables can seriously block flow. That being said if you travel with your rig often, or you have too much heat build up in your case, this is the perfect case.

Great case!

Pros: Fantastic air distribution. Dust has a very hard time collecting on the inside of the case due to the negative pressure created inside the case if you point all fans inward. Plenty of room inside the case for hardware and additional fans. Easy to hide the wiring inside.

Cons: If you wont want to see the lights inside the case, you cant avoid them. If that's not a problem, then there are no cons.

Sad to see this Case go

Pros: Everything about this case is a pro. Amazing air/cooling power, and upgradable slots and just the look and the fact that you can easily move the case around with out worrying about your precious internals makes it a dream.

Cons: None after more than a year of use.
