Thermaltake Level 10 Super-Gaming Modular Tower Chassis is the culmination of performance, design and innovation in computer chassis.

The "Level 10" concept allows gamers to experience the power of their high-end computers through the design itself. In order to achieve this, iconic design is combined with optimum functionality and innovative details. By rendering the inside components visible, the design concept focuses on the architectural aesthetics which are inherent in the computers and result from each individually configurable components. The inspiration for this approach which designers took right from the most basic form of computer itself - expressiveness, virtual townscapes and futuristic game components served as orientation for the arrangement and the look of individual components.

For maximum thermal performance, the Level 10 adopted the similar aerodynamic criteria that can be rivaled by Formula 1 race cars. The exposed vertical heatsink with multiple layers symbolizes both the inherent power and excellent cooling qualities. Targeted ventilation is reached by an advanced airflow system with two separate thermal zones and individual fans preventing overheating and increases airflow to specific components as needed. The result is a highly efficient configuration that channels airflow to the maximum. All these appear within the overall design in the form of an open modular structure that is visually appealing to users, but offers them additional functional benefits at the same time.

  • newegg Open Compartment Architecture The Thermaltake Level 10 features an innovative Open Compartment Architecture (O.C.A.) with all individually encased system components exposed, so all elements are visible and can easily be added or removed.
  • newegg Stylish Design The overall styling of the Thermaltake Level 10 is enhanced by an asymmetrical balance design and cool light features which communicate a multitude of tower functions such as temperature and memory volumes.
  • newegg Incredible Expandability with 9 Drive Bays The Thermaltake Level 10 features three 5.25" drive bays and six 3.5" bays for 3.5" and 2.5" drives, including SSD.

  • newegg Smart-lock Security System The Thermaltake Level 10 features a Smart-lock Security System (S.S.S.) including locks on the rear panel to keep the component bays secure, an upper right lock to secure the PSU and motherboard compartments, as well as a left lock to secure the hard drive trays and optical drive bays.
  • newegg Integrated Handles With two ergonomically well-positioned, integrated handles, the Thermaltake Level 10 can be easily carried from room to room or to a LAN party.

Hi-tech designed 9/2/2012 12:50:35 AM

Pros: Hi-tech designed.
Solid aluminum built construction.
Brilliant engineering, well thought designed fits and finished precisely.
The world first new born computer case to the computer industry
that never seen like before.

Cons: HDD bays are not completely wired, only the top 2 bays are wired and ready for hot swapped, the rest of other 4 bays are not.
Only USB2, not USB3.

Overall Review: Love the COOL designed and finished on this case.
The up-coming new upgrade Thermaltake Level 10 will be in silver color instead of black, all 6 HDD bays will be wired and ready for hot swapped, also will be USB3 instead of USB2.

Great Design, Horrendous Execution 4/20/2011 10:35:30 PM

Pros: - Exquisite design
- Flawless fit and finish; no manufacturing defects on mine
- Excellent cable management
- Entire case built to ensure absolutely no overheating
- Enormous chassis makes a bold statement in the room
- LEDs are neat and look great with the matte black case
- Fans are nearly silent
- Dust buildup internally is unlikely to occur. All component compartments with a fan are also filtered at entrance and exit.

Cons: - Case is unfinished! Only two of the six SATA drive bays were cabled for data and power! -You- will have to modify the case, and the parts required (proprietary inline SATA data+power combo cables) are extremely expensive. This is unforgiveable, given this chassis' huge price tag! Tried a generic substitute inline cable kit, but the design prevents its use. Broke down and bought the manufacturer's very expensive proprietary cabling, so I could use all six of the drive bays. Outrageous.
- Apathetic, unfriendly customer service on the phone (though my representative did speak good English).
- Component "cages" are spread out--and mean that standard cable lengths are nowhere near long enough. I needed to scrounge for extra-long floppy cable, CD/DVD out to Sound-In cable, USB cables, etc. Even Thermaltake's own internal wiring must be unlooped from the chassis, in places, to reach standard components, placed where the manufacturer directs them.
Poor, incomplete documentation.

Overall Review: My Setup (all components will fit):

MOBO: Gigabyte 890GPA UD3H for AM3 chipset
Power Supply: Corsair 850HX Professional
CPU: AMD Phenom2 1090T 3.2 GHz six-core
Memory: 4 ea 2 GB GSkill F3-12800 DIMMs
Hard Drives: 6 ea 1 TB Western Digital Caviar Blue
Optical: DVD/ROM ASUS E818A4 black
Operating Environment: Ubuntu Server 10.10

Definitely a 10! 2/11/2011 5:27:52 PM

Pros: Lots of room for all the great components a case like this deserves. Yes this case is a beast, but is stroung and tuff in all the right places. It will hold the biggest of all video cards with room to spare. Expensive? Yes it is but so are all the other Beamers. Cooling is great, lighting looks good, Hot swap drive bay connections are the shizzel and it's heavy. We're talking M1-Abhrams heavy, but I suppose that is to withstand all the fragging this thing has to take on and off the field.

Cons: Heavy, but not a con.
Not all the drive bays have the hot swap connections, but extras can be found if you take the time to look for them.

Overall Review: This is not a case for those that want the looks but not the guts of a real sports car. Some parts are a little tricky, and this case requires patience, and some what of a mechanical background. I installed the Asus OC Station without a hitch, it just took a little bit more time and there was no cutting of anything anywhere on this case. Just like any other Beamer or Benz, just because space is a little tight in the upper drive bays does not mean you have to get a saw and hack it up (IDIOT), just have to take the time to fit it right. Got to hold your tounge just right. A Great Case for a Great System! Well worth the extra USD, after all, You GET What You Pay For!

Sick case, very unique but pricey... 11/15/2010 4:51:58 PM

Pros: Compartmented and overall very good layout, mine is packing a lot of current hardware and it could handle more. Just cool to behold, you pay for what you get which is outstanding craftmanship and ingenuity in a case.

Cons: None really, some gripes about cables' lengths came up in some reviews I read upon the case's initial release but who's gonna buy this thing and not tailor every component that goes into it without some serious thought of those details? Do your research...

Overall Review: Look at the dims of this beast and think about them, when I first saw the box it came in I was nonplussed, this thing is a beast!

Awesome looks, horrible price. 10/14/2010 7:31:28 AM

Pros: Beautifully designed case. Plenty of HDD/SSD drive slots, 4 USB ports, mic, headphone ports and 1 e-sata port ion the front panel make plug and play devices easy to connect/disconect. The case is quiet and cable management is very easy and neat.

Cons: Price. This case is too expensive for it's build quality and features. The metal frames around the Optical drives are very thin and flimsy and can be bent very easilly so care must be taken when installing optical drives/media devices. The pretty red lights are a bit deceiving in the pictures. The way the lighting is designed for the price is very poor. There are strips of red colored plastic with only a few red lights that I believe are supposed to light up the entire strip evenly and nicely, but it does not do a good job of this. The reset button stays bright red, yet the power button only lights up when you turn the case on or off and the lights for the front input ports are bright at the bottom and dim as you go up indicating they only used a single light to try to light all the ports. Only the first 2 HDD/SSD slots have hot swapable capability, why they did not do this for all 6 ports is not known. For the price, they should have done a better job on the build quality.

Overall Review: This case is huge. Make sure you buy extra long sata cables for your optical drives and use great care when installing optical/media drives. Overall I am pleased with the case, however price vs. quality is medium to poor. They could have done a beter job with lighting, a better job with the thin metal parts of the case, and made all the HDD/SSD drive bays hot swapable. If you want a unique beautiful case and have the money then this is a good choice. If you want a case that performs just as well or better than this one, you can go with much cheaper case.
