Question 1

Will a R9 270X fit ? also will CM Hyper 212 EVO fit ?...are there any fans that come with the case or it it just the rear fan that's preinstalled ?

Not sure about the fit of the items you specify but the case comes with just the one fan. Adding the proper power supply gives great airflow with minimal noise. Lots of additional spaces for airflow regulation but unless you are building a serious server using non-SSD drives and doing a lot of disk burning you really do not need more than the case fan. Fan on the CPU, fan on the video card, fan on the case and fan on the power supply does about all that moving ambient air is going to do for cooling.

Question 2

I need to know for absolutely certain whether a Gigabyte G1 GTX 970 will fit in the slot or are we going to have some issues?  Thanks kind people in advance...

For the price not a bad starter case, or even a budget case, only quirk with this case was thermal stability. Making good use of the vent ports up top negates this however, cable management wi t have this case is ok. It also works well with 240mm prefilled cpu coolers such as the corsair h100i.

The third screen panel on front below, is this a drive area or a false panel?

it is not an external drive bay, behind that panel is the top part of the fans and where the internal drive bays are located.

Will a ASUS 12x9.6 Sabertooth MOBO fit comfortably inside?

it should, I have not put the two together but put an ASUS P8H77-V LGA in nicely.  I put a Sabertooth in a Thermaltake Commander G42 Black ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case (CA-1B5-00M1WN-00) nicely. Out of the two I prefer the Commander case.

This case did not come with a power supply. there are other cases that do, but I needed to buy a more powerful one for my sons gaming computer. Hope this helps!!

Will this case fit the 212 evo cpu cooler?

It doesn't look like it. This case has a 155mm heatsink clearance. The Hyper 212 evo has a 159mm height. Granted it's only 4mm so you could try it if you're feeling froggy but I'd probably avoid this one

Spec sheet on the Thermaltake site indicates 12.3" as the maximum card length...can someone clarify the reality of this ....will a Gigabyte G1 GTX 770 fit?

I was able to put a fan in using the venting holes but it isn't exactly square. It is snug and works.

Can i put fans on the top?I got a liquid cooler so that goes on the back.

There are no mounts on the top grill, and not really much clearance up there. It may be possible to zip tie one up there if you don't mind those.
