APEVIA X-QPACK2-BL/500 Black/ Blue Aluminum Body/ Front Mask Micro ATX Desktop Computer Case 500W Power Supply

Pros: Very nice little case. Mine is pretty quite, like the blue led fans and seems to be well thought out. Not sure if I got lucky in my choice of MB, but the case seemed to "just work" when it came to running all the the wires and such. I did not find the case material 'flimsy' but I do agree that it could be a little thicker.

Cons: The only thing I can come up with is that the PSU is a little large for the case and the power wires come out right where your DVD ROM is, perhaps my DVD ROM is larger than the average, but I had to squish the power and IDE wires a little to make it fit. The blue color of the case is very similar to my Linksys hub, if you have one of those, you know what color 'blue' it is. Not sure if that's a con for me.

Overall Review: I am using a P4 with an ABIT I-45CV and an x700 video card. Everything fit perfectly. I did buy a new CPU fan (ZeroTherm CF800) and it fit just under the rail (again, I think I got lucky), if you have a large fan, be ware, it may not fit in the case.

Pros: Pretty face. Removable motherboard tray. Lots of storage space.

Cons: It's so lightweight that I'm afraid I'll wad it up just by touching it. For a mini ATX this is a big box and I was truly surprised just how big it is - think small microwave or very big toaster oven. While this would normally be a really good thing in my mind, this case is so big that it feels like it's going to fall apart. You know how a small corrugated box can be super rigid, but if you scale that same box up 20 times, with the same thickness of cardboard it becomes very, very flexible hard to work on with warping something. I've been building computers since 1986, all sizes and all types and in that time I bought a couple cases that were not outstanding. It happens. But this one is a joke. Far to many moving parts. That's one of the reason that the case is so flexible. pulling the motherboard tray up, I saw the entire back-plane flexing and bending - and it slid out without a catch. This is advertised as being a portable computer case that you can pick up by the handle that's spring loaded on the face of the case. If you do, it's my opinion that you'll be rebuilding the computer. That handle is retained with just a couple eclips that were barely hanging on in my case. It is also mounted in the plastic face, not in the metal behind it. Absolutely plan on changing the power supply. I haven't seen a PS this lightweight since I had a Commodore 64. Bottom line is this, if you are building a computer that has a lot of pretty parts and lights you want to show off and it's never going to be moved, perhaps you can get by with it, it might be OK. If they had used this thickness steel instead of aluminum it would have made a nice case. Sadly they didn't do that. If they had skipped the power supply entirely it could be a bit cheaper. But if they spent $2 on the supply instead.

Overall Review: I'm sending it back. It wasn't cheap, and shipping it back won't be cheap due to the size, but I'm not going to use it. I'm afraid it would collapse.

Pros: Compact, generally well crafted, nice features and components for the price

Cons: Not compatible with ATX/EPS 12V 8 pins boards (included power supply). Some screw holes for drives are misaligned. If you plan on putting a PCIe card (video), you'll have a fun time trying to screw the card in its slot as there's a metal plate right over that slot (riveted, can't be moved).

Overall Review: Design is generally good, but there are obvious flaws and the included PSU is simply not compatible with some of the more recent boards which makes it not such a good deal in the end... Would not have bought it if I knew...

Pros: The case itself is fairly light. The stock fans are all pretty quiet. Has room for 2 double-wide, extra long video cards. I've got quite a bit of equipment stuffed into this box -- not much room left over, but you can definitely fit everything needed into this box. The case itself looks fairly sexy.

Cons: Entire chasis is made out of fairly thin sheet-metal - in fact it's probably the flimsiest case I've ever seen. There is not much reinforcement between the front and the back faces of the machine. The front plastic bezel seems very fragile. There's not a lot of clearance for the CPU fan, so be very careful with aftermarket coolers I have remove the fan from my heatsink before the mobo-tray will slide in/out. (And I can't get the cpu-fan without remove the gfx card, and I can't remove the gfx card w/o removing the power-supply. Yeah...) The temperature's on the front lcd are feed from external probes that you have to position. I had hoped it might actually show the BIOS reported temperatures instead.

Overall Review: Based on the price, I have a hard time believing the power-supply is of much quality. I would have much rather had the case only, and not have to pay for the power supply. Based on the build-quality, this case could probably have been half the price. I ended up needing a 600W power supply anyway, so I had to upgrade it. I bought a COOLER MASTER GeminII S RR-CCH-PBU1-GP 120mm fan for the CPU, and it's about 5mm too tall to fit properly in the case. I was able to use a hacksaw to clear a little more space to allow the fan to fit (didn't seem to affect structural strength much). This was a replacement for an older model barebones-shuttle case. I would say shuttle cases have a much higher level of engineering, design and construction in a much smaller footprint. That said, I don't think I could run gfx card I wanted in any of the shuttle cases, so it's a tradeoff.

Pros: Nice small compact size just what I was looking for. The 500 Watt psu works great. The 2 fans provided with case work great air flow that helps keep everything cool. The front usb, Fire wire, and audio ports worked like a charm. Would I buy another case like this "YES"

Cons: The screws provided for the hard drive "Toss them" buy new ones. the screws provided are self taping and have a triangle shape and tend to strip out the threads. Replace the screws for the motherboard tray, and the cover they tend to strip out also. I bought the big thumb screws. If you plan on opening the case over and over again, don`t buy it put the case together and leave it alone and it will be great. A little compact wile trying to put the psu wires on the motherboard.

Overall Review: Its a great case, its not made for some one that cant make up there mind and keep playing around with it. put it together once tie up the wires, get everything going and then close it up, and then leave it alone...

Pros: -Looks like a radio. Much better in real than the web site pictures. -Came with a power supply.

Cons: -Cheap plastic grill on the front very fragile. Pay attention when you carry the case . -Couldn't fit a Strix 970 because of the PSU holder it was blocking the Direct CU II cooler.

Pros: Looks kind of cool, great idea!

Cons: Oh Man.. where to begin. First off, dont be that guy (me) that reads the poor reviews and says "it wont happen to me" because with this case it will... Ive been building computers for 10 years, and this is BY FAR the worst case ive ever used. - Motherboard tray is extremely flimsy and cheap - Back panel will BEND with a breeze; miserable - From bezel has 2 screws in the middle of the inside that you have to scratch the heck out of your hand to reach, plus the 4 clips. And then you cant pull off the bezel without bringing all the wires with it. - Front handle is attached with screws holding washers, holding extremely cheap springs, dont use it. - The entire inside feels like its made of aluminum foil, horribly cheap. - Fans did not illuminate as they were supposed to (small issue... cheap to replace.. but still...) - Would have been SO much better with a PSU with removable cords (SO MANY CORDS!) All in all, the case kind of worked. I lifted the unit up by the spring loaded handle and it immediately broke, and i had to take the whole thing apart to fix. The USB and Firewire (really?) on the front were bent so they are at an 85 degree angle instead of flush #cheap. This case for $100? HAHAHA. Not worth it. Move on.

Overall Review: Use reputable brands like Thermaltake, or Cooler Master. Ive use rosewill cases and they are inexpensive, but also good!

Pros: Looks good, compact and could fit a full size GPU with some case modification.

Cons: Thin Aluminum made this very easy to bend, when you don't want to. Front panel was already bent when I got it so it will never fit flush with the outer case shell. The front panel has 2 screws that need to be removed in order to take it off. These screws are located at almost center of the inside of the case, so if you already have a Mobo in it, good luck removing the front panel. You need to remove the power supply to insert the graphics card because the back bracket where the GPU slots are, requires you to remove screws, that are under the PSU. The front panel's two speaker and mic jacks do not work. A few other issues but don't care to continue.

Overall Review: Its a good case, if it was cheaper. The front handle will work for carrying as long as you do not put to much weight in it, at about 10 pounds, it started to bend the front panel.
