Does this case have a place to put an optical drive in at all?

No it does not.  I use an external optical drive that I switch between computers when I need it.  Mainly because I don't need an optical drive very often.  They are fairly cheap these days.

Question 2

I have a dvd/cd drive (optical drive) and i want to make sure i can put it in this computer. Can I? If not, what is a case that is similar to this, for about the same price, and has an optical drive slot. I'd be nice if it was black and blue, but to necessary. Also with a big side window, with nice cable management. I know its a lot but i want my computer to be displayed as nice as it can. Thanks!

the s340 does not have any 5.25" bays for your optical drive. its really the only draw back but i can live without one since i rarely need an optical drive. there are plenty of other good cases to choose from tho. before i got this case i considered a few others like the deepcool tesseract, something from corsair's carbide series. fractal design, silverstone, and phanteks all have good alternatives or you could just get an external dvd drive.

Question 3

I bought a MOBO without realizing it was a mini-ITX. Will that board mount in this case correctly?

This case supports up to standard ATX. So smaller ones should be fine. You can check the mounting holes on the fourth picture. Typically, a mini-ITX will only take two PCIE slots of the case.

Does this come with the outer magnet for headsets and cables?

No it does not

Is the blue portion attached to the front header of the case made of steel or plastic? Additionally, is that blue portion removable?

The blue in the front / outside part of the case is plastic and is not removable as it contains the pins that hold the front on. The blue strip on the inside is steel and is removable with a couple of screws.

What is the blue thing next to the mobo? And why is the psu socket so long at the bottom?

Behind the blue thing is a big rectangular hole for wires from the the other side. The blue metal is just used to hide the wires. There are slots to mount HDD in the psu socket. PSU in the back and HDD in the front

Will a liquid cooling radiator fit in this case? Where?

yes (see system specs or visit the NZXT site for cooling specs) simply looking at the specs shows that it can accommodate various liquid cooling setups. The most common is a 240mm Rad placed in the front

it'll do 2x graphics cards, yes

Is this the updated S340 with the better PSU dust filter and cover by the PCI thumbscrews?

Yes it is, they added a filter that is a similar style to the one used for the front intake fans for the PSU and it does also include the cover for the PCI ports.

Question 10

how many 3.5 inch HDD I can install in this case?  It says 2+1?  Does it mean 3?  Why not say 3.  I could not find place for the third one.
