Rosewill R102-P-BK 120mm Fan MicroATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Under 30 bucks with free shipping. Better quality than expected. One Rear mounted fan included. Uses standard size power supply. Using it for a Biostar A8800GB+ with an AMD. Double boxed and well packaged. Screws and a cover for the open video slot included. Not many sharp edges on this inexpensive case.

Cons: The CPU air flow tunnel will probably fit on an intel stock cooler. Doesn't quite work with my AMD stock cooler. Probably would be a problem with a big aftermarket cooler. You can just leave that plastic part out or remove it though. No instructions of any kind with box or on their web site - shouldn't matter for most folks, the air tunnel thingy stumped me for a few minutes though. No e-Sata front port. You have to attach everything with screws, opening front and back panels to do so.

Overall Review: Ideal for a motherboard with on-board graphics and a bunch of hard drives for use as a non-gaming box or server or home theater HDMI machine. A big video card plus adding an extra front fan in front (by the hard drives) might not work too well in terms of clearance.

Pros: It'll hold a micro ATX mainboard, and it doesn't look ridiculous doing it. You can put standard size parts in it. Has buttons that turn on and reset the computer. Fan included.

Cons: The photograph made it look nicer. You'll have to bust out a dremel if you want to put anything other than an optical drive in the top two bays. Case is made from thin metal sheets that will cave in if you kick it or just hug it too hard. You should stop hugging your computers anyways you weirdo.

Overall Review: All I wanted it to do was be black, not have a giant neon spider on the front and I wanted it to hold standardized parts. Well it does.

Pros: Nice roomy case for mATX boards. I almost went with a cube case, but decided I liked this look better. Paint is very nice. Not glossy, not flat black. Fits my EVGA 8800GT Card with almost an inch to spare to the drive cage side on the right. Top 2 CD-ROM bays have hinged spring loaded covers that hide your DVD ROM, and the open button lines up perfectly with my DVD burner (LITE-ON LH-20A1L-05). Shipped in double box, so not likely this can get damaged in shipping. It's a case for 25$..why have you not ordered one yet? Add a handle and it's a perfect lan gaming box.

Cons: No Computer speaker included (I just pulled one out of an old case I had) so you won't hear beep codes if there is a startup error. Front USB connectors to the motherboard can be slightly confusing. Refer to your motherboard manual, and you will be fine.

Overall Review: I added 2 Rosewill RFX-120BL 120mm 2 Ball Bearing Blue LED Case Fans for cooling, replacing the included 120mm fan. Installed is a GIGABYTE GA-G31M-S2L LGA Micro ATX, E8400 chip, 4GB Corsair memory, EVGA 512-P3-N801-AR GeForce 8800 GT 512MB, and a ZALMAN CNPS 7500 Cu LED 110mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler for the processor cooling. CORSAIR CMPSU-550VX 550W powering it all as well. All parts fit the case fine. CPU Cooler fins are about 1-2cm away from the rear exhaust fan, but everything clears. All parts ordered from NewEgg. I don't see why people think they need a full tower with 6 fans to build a gaming computer.......CPU temp is at 33o C at idle..

Pros: - Inexpensive -Easy install of hardware -Plenty of room for expansion -Great airflow with an additional 120mm fan in front -Sturdier than others on here have given it credit for -Perfect compact size I was looking for -Nice looking

Cons: -If I had to find one it'd be that the back panel is a twist off. But no big deal. Just watch your fingers!

Overall Review: For those who are bashing this case, what exactly did you expect for $25? This was for a basic low-end build and it did its job. For the price its one tough little case. Just the fact that Rosewill responded to the negative reviews and offered to replace defective parts at their cost was what sold me on this case in the first place. Great job, Rosewill! I'd definatley buy another one.

Pros: Matte black finish (ie, it's not shiny!). Solid construction yet light weight. The plates all fit and everything fits together well. Nothing feels like it's going to fall off or wobbly. USB and minijacks on front face are solid feeling, not cheap and wriggle. They do not move. Power and reset buttons click with a satisfying solid click, not a cheap feeling `gonna bust' wriggly click. 6 total internal bays for 3.5" disks on such a tiny case. Has thumb screws. Comes with a bag of screws (tons of them, not just a handful). The cone over the CPU to a vent has an extender so you can use low profile heatsink setups for a silent computer. The 120mm fan that it comes with is pretty good and not very noisy. Hold the LED cords inside and shake the case and it doesn't rattle like a cheap tin can. Even though it *is* cheap! No obnoxious logos or lights (ie, no rosewill logo anywhere on the case). So it looks dull black, sturdy and low profile/generic. Great little gem for only $19.

Cons: The front of the case is set so that the optical drives bays will open through it and push open it's own little face. This can be good or bad depending on your needs. For me, it's fine, it means I never see my DVD drive in it unless I open it. When it closes, the little facing shuts and you can't see that there's any drive there. For others that can be very annoying though since you cannot take them off and you can't seat an optical drive with it's face plate all the way flush with the front of the case due to these folding bays. This only applies to the top 2 bays. The 3rd 5.25" bay is a normal bay where the face comes off completely so you can have an optical drive's facing flush. Only a con if you like to see the lights/face of your optical drives. For me, I like not seeing any of that. They do however feel cheap and easy to break (as they're only working due to a spring holding them, which over time will likely fail).

Overall Review: I got this for $19. It has 6x 3.5" bays to house 6 internal HDD's. It's small, low profile, and not shiny. The optical drives are hidden if you mount them in the top 2 bays (not the 3rd) so you don't even have to see text at all on the front of this thing. Makes it a perfect little HTPC and/or NAS case. I use it for this purpose (HTPC & NAS). Light, low profile, small, sturdy. I was totally surprised that it wasn't just a totally rickety little thing. It turned out to be quite a gem. Great low cost case for anyone, but especially great for folk who want a quiet PC with generic/no-text looks that isn't shiny!

Overall Review: If you are looking for a nice cheap micro-atx case on Newegg, look no further than this one. Can't really say anything negative about it. As others have mentioned, this case has plastic spring loaded flaps covering your disc drives, etc. I think they are rather nice. Also worth mentioning is that it has integrated stand-offs for your motherboard to sit on. Don't worry about putting washers or brass standoffs in unless your motherboard specifically requires it. The standoffs in this case look like raised bumps with holes in them. Standard PSU's will fit fine in case you were wondering. I would buy another 120mm fan to put in the front to keep it cool if you don't have an extra one lying around. All in all, this case is clean-looking and sturdy.

Pros: Good build quality, allows for 120mm front fan with filter. Sides slide on and off easily. Great airflow if you install a 120mm fan in front.

Cons: None of these things are a big deal for what I am using the case for (file server) but if I had to list what I consider cons, here they are. Front USB wiring is not fun to hook up because each wire is separate rather than joined together into a block that plugs into your motherboard header. PCI slot covers are the cheap punch-out kind, except the top one that includes a reusable cover. 5.25" drive covers are a bit cheesy and feel cheap, and the entire front bezel must come off to install a DVD drive. Rear fan is LOUD, too loud for a machine that's on 24/7 in my bedroom. Replaced it with an 800RPM Scythe S-FLEX and added one for intake in the front.

Overall Review: With the aforementioned cons, I would probably not use this as my main desktop. But for my file server that just sits there and putts along, it fits the bill perfectly without being too flashy and gaudy. I don't need the front USB ports, nor do I need to punch out the PCI covers. Thus for my level of satisfaction with the case and the purpose it serves -- 5 STARS.

Pros: surprised by the length of the I/O port cables. The fan that comes with the case moves a lot of air and is very quiet. Nothing has broken on the user yet. It will fit a 9600GSO if you like that, but manage your hard drives around it. It wont do 4 drives with the long cards. comes with a filter over the front so dust doesn't get in your case. great value. Cost/quality. Can't complain.

Cons: The front bezel is annoying since it is designed to fit two DVD drives, but with all of the cheap combo drives, I can't see why someone would put two unless they're burning directly from one to another. replacing the air duct with a fan, the screws almost stripped because they were very cheaply made. all of the metal of I also can't get the led's to work, but no matter, i put fans with LEDs on them anyway, so I'd probably unplug them anyway.

Overall Review: This is my favourite of all of the microATX rosewill cases. They're all roughly in the $30 price range and the interior is all the same size. The difference is only the front. The front fan slot can only fit a 120x120x25, don't try it with a 38mm thick fan. I don't use the air duct, so I can't rate it. I don't like them so I installed an 80mm fan in its stead.
