Rosewill - THOR V2-W Gaming ATX Full Tower Computer Case White Edition, Supports Up to E-ATX / XL-ATX, Comes with Four Fans

Pros: It's big enough for an E-ATX MB, Plenty of fans, nice bay arrangement, some glitz ( not that I really cared about that) 4 topside USB ports, dual fan controls, headphone and mic jacks and an e-sata jack on the front panel. Nice case for my very first gaming rig build. My wife liked the white case

Cons: one of the fan controllers don't work..but I can live with that..not worth the hassel of an rma on a 30 pound box. As like everybody else..the grommets are ineffective. No handle to move it around ( i'm putting it on casters)

Overall Review: I've bought quite a few Rosewill products for this build. You folks need somebody to tweek up your documentation a bit. I expected more tech info on a high end case.

Pros: Slightly taller than my previous case. Very roomy.

Cons: Missing a real manual. Nothing to knock off an egg for.

Pros: Very spacious, fan controls are a definite plus, looks pretty cool, front USB ports galore, very quiet, cable management is easy, comes with lots and lots of fans

Cons: Dust seems to build up fast, looks kinda gaudy

Overall Review: Very few complaints. Should I have listed that it's heavy? well of course it is, because it's a full ATX tower. I could have listed that it's huge, but again it's a full ATX case. I used to wonder why my friend had a full ATX case and now I know why... it's nice not to have everything crammed into a small box. My CPU idled from 44C and dropped to 34C.

Cons: large, as in massive case heavy, though sturdy.

Overall Review: Have not fired up the dystem yet, but build going nicely. Waiting on hard drives. Beautiful case with excellent cable management. Not only is this my most advanced build, but also the most elegant, thanks to this case. 8 core 4.0 Ghz, water cooled, 16 gb ram, 256 gb ssd, and 2 1 tb drives in raid. Ubuntu with Windows in a virtual drive.

Pros: First product review! 1) When I purchased this case newegg did not have any detailed pictures. I checked Rosewill's site and used those to make my decisions. When the product arrived I was more pleased as they redid the Front I/O panel. It came with 2 USB 3.0 2 USB 2.0 instead of 1 3.0 and 3 2.0. 2) The case itself appears to be well built and sturdy. 3) Tool less bays work fine did not have any issues with them. 4) The fans are Ultra Quiet! and the led lights preinstalled are not overpowering like some come. 5) Ample amount of room to support X-Fire or SLI. Room is not an issue with this case at all! ITS HUGE! 6) The cable management system is nice. I was able to hide everything behind the false wall. Makes for a very clean install. 7) The bottom mounted PSU is nice. It has hole patterns for either mounting the PSU fan up or fan down for whichever preference you want. 8) The fins at top lock in place well when open. Doesn't seem it will wear out fast.

Cons: I did not find many things bad about this case. If I had to improve something Id say: 1) It would have been nicer if the cable management system was a little bit bigger. Once you have all the wires back behind the false wall it gets to be a tight fit. 2) They should have put a little adhesive around the grommets for the cable management. They like to pop off, but its not a big deal they pop right back in place.

Overall Review: Overall a great case! Some might think its to large, but just look at the dimensions before purchasing. It is full ATX case. Its a nice feature having the front fan with the choice of LED on/off. I dont think it would be a bad idea if they used that fan throughout the case, thus having the option for more LED light if you wish. I purchased an additional Cooler Master 120MM sickleflow fan for the bottom to finish off the cooling system. I will update if anything changes.

Pros: I have to say that I was really happy when this case came in. It works wonderfully with my current SLI setup, and there is plenty of space. I really liked the extra length cords attached to the front panel, it allowed me to do precise cable management. If using an E-ATX board, you will have close clearance on some of the rubber holes, but there are plenty of other ones to use if you can't get your connects through. This case is sexy - the White LED looks amazing. I really like it! Try setting up your fans on the case controls, it's well worth it and it's easier than trying to attach them to your motherboard. You can attach up to 3 fans per knob, so you could tailor your side and bottom fans with your top fans and get the precise control/noise level you want. It was really easy to install the HDDs and SDD, the front Blu Ray drive went in with ease. Plenty of room and side profile allows for an easy cable management setup. Great airflow! Good for people that don't want another boring black case with blue or red LEDs. On my 4th computer build, I'm sick of my computer looking like it's a blade server.

Cons: You've gotta PULL that top off, I was scared I would break it, but thankfully its designed to pop off and make that 'oh boy I just broke my case' sound without breaking. This case does not have very much room at the top. If you use a large motherboard that means that you will need to be very careful if you decide to replace the fan at the top and go with a radiator/watercooler (like the h100i). I had to take off one of the fans only because my Asus Maximus V Formula CPU power outlet was in the way of one of the fans. Sucks, but if you are getting the Thor with this mobo, get a slim fan 120 mm (you can find them on Newegg) and it should have enough clearance. I was able to safely run without one of the fans on the radiator, so that's good news too, I just wouldn't do it for very long or push your CPU to the max without both fans. Couldn't figure out how to use the bottom fan, it was a little sharp and I almost cut myself.

Overall Review: This case is gorgeous, it lights up beautifully, I recommend running a blue led extension on the bottom of the case to really show it off. KEEP THE FINS CLOSED while you're assembling. I know it's cool to think your case is a Transformer but this sucker was not made on Cybertron, it will crack at the top if you put your hand down and rest your weight on it. I -nearly- did this while flipping my case to put in my h100i backplate.

Pros: I purchased this case about 5 years ago and have had zero issues with it. Easy to swap out fans when needed. Cable management is fantastic. More than enough drive bays.

Overall Review: The only problem I ever had was through my own fault. Over the 5 years that I've owned the case, I've managed to damage one of the front-top side USB ports and both the headphone and mic jacks. Simply from having things plugged in and tripping over cords and yanking them out of the ports. I contacted Rosewill to see if I could order a replacement control board for the front-top side ports. They said they would try to locate the spare part but, there was no guarantee it would be available. They said if they were able to find it, they'd email me with the information and cost of the part. About one week later I received an email confirmation from Newegg.com that the part had been shipped. They did not charge me a dime for the part or for the shipping. Now THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I've been a loyal customer to Newegg.com for quite a few years and with service like this, I plan on staying one!! :D Thanks Newegg and Rosewill for being Rockstars!! :D

Pros: This is a case that Thor himself basks with his glory from on high. The case is huge...huge. It will have no trouble fitting anything. Fans are quiet, large, and keep my system quite cool. The red lighting is a plus.
