Great for price 8/30/2017 9:11:01 PM

Pros: - Solid value for price on a simple system - good office computer box.
- Quiet
- No heat issues

Cons: - Small, but that's what you're paying for. I had no installation issues, was tight but not relevantly for the value.

Overall Review: - Be sure to buy brackets if you buy a 2.5 SSD drive that will allow you to mount it in a 5" slot.

Perfect box for microATX and APU ( 7860 ) 4/7/2017 9:44:00 AM

Pros: super cheap ( on sale with rebate! )
great looking modern deco styling
soft rubber feet are non-sliders on a smooth surface
fans are quiet and rear 80mm has mounts for 92mm ( I did ).
DVD optical drive slot ( yes, some of us still have a use for them, and my public library has lots of stuff on CD, DVD ).
start button perfectly placed and feels just right to my thumb
controls and terminals mounted vertically on front to avoid being dust-catchers
Blue LED can be used as a night light during night time surfing sessions, haha

Cons: Case too narrow to allow a 120mm rear exhaust fan
Case too narrow to allow a 212 evo tower in front of a 120mm exhaust fan
Motherboard mounting standoffs have only 3 threads, not the more standard 5
Motherboard mounting sockets appear to have only 1.5 threads, inviting easy stripping!
No front air filter!!!
Side panel grill just diverts air flow away from components, I have it covered inside with plastic and scotch tape

Overall Review: This case would be greatly improved with an additional inch in width, allowing a 120mm exhaust fan ( the most important case fan for air flow ) and a 120mm fan tower in front of it (and quieter, too ). I cut a 5x7 inch piece of plastic, 14/inch screen and slid it over the fan under the front cover. Not perfect, but much better than no air filter at all. Be VERY careful when tightening the motherboard standoffs. If stripped, you will have to use #6-32 machine screw nuts to fasten them, and maybe use longer, standard length standoffs and grind off the extruded sheet metal threading. I am using a single SSD in this build for memory storage, but down the road, mounting cages for hard drives/SSDs will be ancient history as higher density and much faster NVMe storage moves directly onto the motherboard.

Quality Control Was Asleep When This Came Down The Line 1/22/2017 6:26:56 AM

Pros: This is a relatively sturdy inexpensive case. The directions are good and the front panel cables are long enough to reach the far end of the box. There are plenty of screws for everything except the power supply.

Cons: The front panel is terrible. It has a piece of the chrome trim missing on the left side. The opening in the front panel for the optical drive is off center and too large. Because it is a gloss finish, it shows fingerprints and doesn't match the matte finish on any optical drives.

Overall Review: The metal parts of the case are all fine. I was expecting break out panels at this price level. But I don't know why the bothered to put one in the optical drive bay, since the bay above it was already open to accommodate the front panel wiring. I have purchased many Rosewill products over the years and this is the only one that has been a disappointment.

Good, Inexpensive Case 1/13/2017 7:27:30 PM

Pros: This is a nice little case for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money.
- 2.5" SSD or HDD mounting on the bottom of the case
- lightweight
- subdued design
- power button is easy to find by hand without looking or in the dark
(Call me silly; it's the little things that make life grand.)

Cons: - case is lightweight due to thin metal; handle with care
- tight fit between 3.5" bays and CPU cooler

Overall Review: I used this case for some older components I had lying around. Everything fits, and it does what it's supposed to do.
I'd suggest installing 3.5" drive(s) before mounting the CPU cooler; of course that depends on your configuration. There's enough clearance between the HDD connectors and the cooler, but I had to take the fan off to maneuver the drive into place.

I got a new laptop SSD and decided to stick the old drive in this case. I've had the case for about 2 years, and I never noticed the 2.5" drive mount on the bottom until a couple of days ago. Nice not needing to buy another bay adapter.
As for the thin sheet metal I mentioned, it's not aluminum-foil thin, like, you're not going to poke holes in it with a screwdriver or anything. (Well, if you tried hard enough, I'm sure you could.) It just bends easily.
As for the fan noise, I haven't bought a case yet that I didn't swap out the fans.
I also plastered the ASUS sticker I got with the mobo on top of the blue LED.

Great Case for the Money 12/16/2016 5:56:34 PM

Pros: Pleasant and simple design so it doesn't end up looking like some truly awful monstrosity as many of the "gamer" cases tend to be. Besides the price, I wanted something like this for my current build. Compact with clean layout.

Fits my rather large CPU heatsink (DEEPCOOL GAMMAXX 300) and fan nicely.

Cons: No front USB 3.0 (but with gigabit ethernet, USB is becoming more inconvenient tracking down drives all the time that constantly get lost or fail).

Because it's mATX, expect a lot of grief when adding stuff in and out of the case. Cable management is a nightmare and if you have a modular PSU, probably a good idea to put the necessary cables on before adding it into the case because you'd need tiny hands to get in there. I had tried to remove the front bezel, with no luck so someone might be able to access the modular PSU receptacles through the 5.25 section of the case. I ended up using plumber's channel locks.

Sharp edges everywhere, so be careful.

Front bezel on mine seems difficult to remove.

Overall Review: Currently holding an Asus 970M Pro3, FX8350 with DEEPCOOL GAMMAXX 300, Raidmax 535 PSU, 16GB G.Skill RAM along with a temporary GTX 750 card (replacement is waiting to be delivered). I have an SSD that I will have to buy a mount for.

Had no problems mounting a single PCIe video card but not sure about the clearance for the second SLI or Crossfire device.

Ohhh Shiny! 12/5/2016 11:53:19 AM

Pros: - Light weight. Didn't add much additional weight to the build.
- Looks rather sleek.
- Just enough space for a budget PC build yet smaller than a mid-tower.

Cons: - Steel a little thin for my tastes. Didn't expect to be relying on the PC components to make the case more rigid.
- Power LED too bright. Don't look directly into the blue power LED you may go blind.
- Odd positioning of font panel I/O.
- Front panel LEDs did not have enough hot glue to hold them in place.

Overall Review: Not the most horrible case that I have had the pleasure of building a PC with but definitely not the best.
Doubt I would recommend or buy again.
