Do the 3.5 inch bays contain screw holes for 2.5 inch drives?

They do not have screw holes or spacing for 2.5 inch drives. I buy the 3.5" to 2.5" hdd\sdd hard drive kit to mount the ssd drive.

Hi. Does this case has an indicator light for hard drive activity or power? Thanks in advance for you answer.

There is no light for HDD activity, but the circle around the power button does glow blue when the unit is on.

What is the technique for taking off the front panel? I read it's possible but I'm having trouble doing it in a way that won't break it. Just trying to install a fan in the front mount point

T remove the front bezel, you will need to first pull the bottom out. Do this firmly yet with care that you don't pull too hard. There are wires attaching the power, usb and audio connectors that could be pulled out. Yes it is scary because it needs to be forcefully pulled away. It is a tighter fit than one would expect.
