Foxconn DH848-SV250-2N Black/ Silver Steel MicroATX Slim Desktop Computer Case 250W Power Supply

Pros: This is a well constructed and sturdy little case and does exactly what it is intended to do-- give a good home to a relatively small PC. The interior wire tie downs were a nice touch for the front panel wiring, even if power button/indicator light wiring was a little short for my mobo. Runs fairly quiet. Access is good with a removable side panel and drive tray. Housing for two 3.5" drives (one internal only and one external) and one 5.25" (external). Blocking plates are included.

Cons: Aforementioned short wires for the front panel power switch and indicators (if your jumpers are on the expansion slot side of the mATX mobo, you'll have to reroute just a touch). Complete lack of documentation...there's nothing in the box but the case and some styrofoam. Both 40mm fans on the back should probably run off of 1 power connection.

Overall Review: Overall this is a fantastic case for the price. It was selected simply for the fact that it has front USB and firewire ports. I was quite surprised at the weight of the case (I've had midtowers that weighed less!) and the overall quality and finish. Highly recommended.

Pros: This box is small, it comes with adequate power, and is quite easy to move around in (once you take out the tray cage and the power supply, and they pull out, no screws)

Cons: VERY short power cables, though they are quite adequate with the motherboard I purchase to go in this. (GIGABYTE GA-G33M-DS2R) finding a video card for this thing is difficult. low profile video cards all the way, WITH a short cover plate.

Overall Review: This is a very nice, compact, low profile box. I put a quad core processor in this thing and found a video card with dual monitor support. this is a very nice case. I don't know if I would recommend over clocking and gaming with this case due to air flow, I don't know how it would handle the heat. for the average use.. this is a perfect fit.

Pros: Space is well used. Case is solidly constructed.

Cons: The cables for the power switch, hd light, etc were barely the right size. Would have been nice if I could have kept them under the clamps provided.

Pros: Case is exactly as advertised. Easy to install all parts, and basically a decent layout with some style.

Cons: Green and Red LED's, and low profile layout for add in cards.

Overall Review: Great starter case for a Email/web browser. Great price!

Pros: Nicely designed slim case. The front of the case is clean and the case in general doesn't include any cheesy plastic molding or lights. The case is also relatively sturdy and runs relatively quietly and coolly (despite the tinny fans that it has). It's designed to work well lying flat or standing up on its side. The front side ports are convenient and include firewire. The case includes accessories like stands and rubber feet.

Cons: This case could really use an instruction manual. It took awhile to figure out how to remove the drive tray; the case also came with two metal pieces that I couldn't figure out how to use and eventually discarded. Another annoying thing is the fact that it has two fans; most motherboards don't have two fan power connectors and it didn't have an adapter to connect the fan to the PSU, so I ended up splicing the two fans together. Lastly, the drive tray requires that you mount the drives with the screws on the bottom - a little unusual. I had to drill holes in the bottom of one of my drives to mount it in the case. In all, this case required the most time I've ever spent building a computer.

Overall Review: This case is actually fairly long (depth) for a slim case and there's a bit of wasted space under the drive bay where you can't put anything. (They could've fit a second internal 2.5 bay, probably.) Also, this is a slim case, so expect to spend extra time searching for low form factor expansion cards and graphics cards and/or spend the time and effort modifying a regular size card to fit.

Pros: This case is very nice looking, has useful front ports, well constructed and the flip down front cover is a nice feature.

Cons: I own about 7 video cards and not one of them will work with this case. Any pci/agp/pci-x card you put on to your mother board will have to be low profile and I do not know of any that are. The case is a bit longer than it needs to be for a micro-atx mb. A lot of wasted place if using one of those.

Overall Review: The case will not accept video cards and I need a good video card for my application so I will be making my first ever newegg return. I should have read the other reviews closer before ordering and as a result I will be eating the shipping cost.

Pros: Looks really good and is of high quality. Great size and price. Very silent power supply which is a great plus. Removable "assembly plate" for easy installment of hard drive and optical device.

Cons: The cables for the front panel is a joke. They are extremely short and you have to either cut them (extend with more cabling), re-route them (which presents an issue with the assembly plate) or simply not use any of them except the power. I had to remove the case fans, they are simply way to loud.

Overall Review: I built a SmoothWall box out of it with a passive cooled P3 533. The temperature a bit too high without the case fans, which I had to remove due to high noise level. I am overall very pleased with the end result. But this case is NOT recommended if you who are not experienced with building your own systems.

Pros: The Case is well built and takes the mATX motherboard without a problem. Slick looks.

Cons: By slim, they mean that no standard PCI cards will fit. Thus far the only video card that works is the one on my MoBo.

Overall Review: If anybody has come across this before I would be very interested in the resolution. Who makes video cards (or any PCI cards for that matter) that have such small rack mounts?
