LinkWorld has created a case to have room for all you need without paying a fortune to do it. The Model 313G-C2628 looks like a no frills case -- but wait, there's more! A nice clean look is suitable for anyone's desk. The four 5.25" and two 3.5" external drive bays are an obvious plus, but both expected and needed in today's world. As the adage goes, looks can be deceiving.

The vents along both sides to let in cool air might be missed to a casual glance, and who would notice the duct giving the CPU fan a place to put the hot air. The rear vent is predrilled for a fan to make all these unnoticeables a great benefit to the internal temperature of the system.

The forward USB ports are both hidden and protected on the side. And then you get to the brains of the operation. An amazing six 3.5" internal hard drive slots. If you want more for your money, this is the way to go.

  • newegg Excellent Expandability with 12 Drive Bays Boasting four external 5.25" drive bays, two external and up to six internal 3.5” drive bays, the Linkworld 313G-C26 provides superb expandability.
  • newegg Effective Cooling The Linkworld 313G-C26 features one 90mm rear fan, one side air duct and VGA card vents to effectively control system temperatures.

Cheesy LOL! 3/3/2015 1:20:37 PM

Pros: I had it for a few years and longer than I expected. I got rid of it a couple of years ago.

Cons: Man, was this thing cheesy! I rated it a three because I had it longer than I expected.

Overall Review: Always fun to look back.

Pros: If there are any it would be the front of the case.

Cons: Case is very flimsy, came with dents on the top edges.

Overall Review: I would not buy this product

Works fine and is cheap 6/21/2008 6:58:00 AM

Pros: I built this PC for my wife as we seem to always want the PC at the same time. I had lots of parts from upgrades so we built this as a budget PC. Everything works well, plenty or room and the removable mobo tray is nice for wiring first then installing. Connectors were labeled well and fit frimly. My PSU had 1 Sata connector.

Cons: Mine came with the standard dent in the top back but not bad and the thin metal makes repairs easy. The PSU is kind of just sitting there and moves around. The expansion slots are not replaceable (guess that's what duct tape is for) But for $27 you really can't knock this thing much. It is kind of flimsy but once all together it is fine.

Overall Review: Unlike others who reviewed this case I got no cuts from mine and I had to go back in and replace my mobo as the first one was bad. I did not feel the need to stand on it as one reviewer did. I may buy another one as I still have almost enough parts for another PC.

Good buy 6/3/2008 12:16:18 PM

Pros: Works great, the power supply is good and reliable. Its probably the equivalent of a very high quality 300w. I like the look because it kind of reminds me of an old emachines I had back in the day. This machine actually looks good if you fill in at least two drive bays and one of the 3.5 bays "in my case 2xdvdburners 1xfloppy" Looks very professional Has a nice little indent to put in your cpu's logo or for me my company's OEM logo which gives it a nice touch.

Cons: It is a bit flimsy but not to the extent of the exaggeration people on here seem to claim. To me its fine, I don't move it anywhere so no problem here.

Overall Review: Geeze how in the world did this last person manage to need stitches?! He must be a bull in a china shop because I had no problems with cutting myself on every edge and bending the machine with every movement.

Pros: it holds the parts together

Cons: where do i start... this case for one thing comes with no risers (they are "included" in the case itself)

you have to bend the drive bay to screw the drives in

if the screws aren't in, the side of the case more less falls off

the box the case came in is about as strong as the case itself

and the front panel connector cables aren't very long (almost didn't reach to the motherboard headers)

Pros: None

Cons: Very dissatisfied with this case. The 1st case that I got was damaged which is not a big deal, I was gonna use it anyway but 2 of the power connectors on the power supply were bad so I called Newegg and they were very helpful and speedy in the replacement process. The next case I received I had a problem with the front panel connectors "THEY DIDN'T WORK" I used another case I had(different style and brand name) and the front panel connectors worked fine. So I know It wasn't the motherboard. I will never purchase this particular case again and I suggest future buyers beware.

Overall Review: Newegg rma process rock they sent me another case overnight free of charge

Works. 5/2/2008 6:02:52 AM

Pros: It's sturdy. Came with a PSU (the SATA disk had legacy support). I/O panel works flawlessly. Has 7 expansion slots, so plenty of case fan room (if needed). Had a small square depression on the front panel so I could put my OEM logo on it :)

Cons: A little hard to get rear I/O cover out. Side duct didn't line up perfectly with CPU fan, but it works fine. Rounded drive bay shields make drives not flush (reminds me of eMachines).

Overall Review: Built this for a customer. 99% of the computers I build use Linkworld or Rosewill cases. In this case, Linkworld struck a winner. For the price, you can't really go wrong. System: PC Chips mATX mobo (integrated graphics), Athlon X2 4200+, WD 80GB SATA HDD, Kingston 1GB RAM, LITE-ON Combo drive. Will definetly order again.

Pros: Really cheap, looks better than I thought it would. Power supply works.

Cons: Thin metal, not much room if i wanted to install a thin intake fan up front, curved drive bays mean drives won't be flush, no SATA power connectors and only 4 four-pin power connectors, stock fan kind of noisy.

Overall Review: The sides of the case are not silver like they might appear to be in the first two New Egg pictures. The $27.99 pricetag makes up for all of the minor flaws this case has.
