Very Nice 8/5/2008 7:57:06 AM

Pros: This case is very nicely put together. The PSU works fine for basic machines that aren't going to have discrete video cards and multiple drives. For the money you can't beat it.

Cons: More connections on the PSU for sata drives.

Cheap Case/PSU combo 4/3/2008 11:56:12 AM

Pros: After the rebate very cheap. Black. No kiddie lights (neons). PSU has 20 and 24 pin capability. Comes with sufficient mounting hardware for board, drives, etc. Plenty of room. Room for 2 120mm fans. This thing could breathe like crazy if you wanted it to.

Front USB and mic/stereo jacks.

Cons: Only one cheap board powered (3 pin) 80 mm fan, but at least if you want this thing to breathe you have the option by buying bigger (another) fans.

Had to use a grey marker to color the power button because EVERYTHING on this case is black, and it is very hard to distinguish from everything else on the front panel.

Overall Review: Couldnt really ask for much more here. Capable case at a good price. Perfect for a first time setup for relatives who dont need big money cases.

ASUS Shame 3/30/2008 1:39:52 PM

Pros: Cheap with cheap PS. Looks pretty good. I put in a couple of 120 fans and used a different PS.

Cons: Asus should stick to motherboards. Get out the surgical tape and bandaids if you plan to use this case. You're sure to get cut. Also the standoffs aren't even standard. They smaller and use a finer threaded screw like those that come with CD/DVD drives. Don't mix them with your Antec goodies or you'll end up with damaged threads.

Looks good, Asus brand...but 2/14/2008 6:10:29 PM

Pros: Looks good and breaths well. Accepts 80, 92 & 120 MM fans front and back!

Cons: Not real sturdy. Paid for a name here. A lot of sharp edges to get cut on. Power supply was cheap and did not use it. Power button hard to distinguish from extra USB & firewire tabs.

Overall Review: Not a bad case, but I expected a little more from a brand name. Not the easiest case I have ever set up, but not the worst. May look into CM Centurion cases next time in this price range...

Pros: Great price. The case is sturdy and has a nice, but plain, look.

Cons: Several problems: THE PSU went after about 24 hours. The PSU cables are not long enough to reach the bottom of the case. On the front is what looks like a neat push out tray for the optical drive, but the snap connectors for the drive will not hold the drive correctly positioned to use this. Well built, but not so well thought out.

Overall Review: OK I guess. Cheap with the rebate, and not expensive enough to ship it back. I just stuck in an old PSU until I can get a new one. Hopefully I just got a bad PSU.

Good Case 2/10/2008 2:46:39 PM

Pros: Solid construction. Thumb screws make side panels easy to remove. Flip clips on drive bays make drive alignment easy.
Good case for the money.

Cons: Power supply is cheap, only supports one sata. Replaced it with an Antec. 80mm case fan is useless, replaced it with two 120mm front and rear.

Overall Review: The front panel drive flip plate is novel, but useless...I just removed it and installed my drive normal. A good case with some minor mods.

Bad idea. 2/7/2008 4:29:51 PM

Pros: Price.

Cons: Stupid built-in flip-down door on the top 5 1/4 bay. Prevents you from seeing the light on my DVD-ROM. Tool-less HD and CD-ROM enclosure only secures from one side. Have to use screws on the other side to make everything totally secure. Paint chips easily. Cheap plastic legs, should have used rubber to prevent scratching.

Overall Review: Very disappointed with this case. I would not buy another one. Hard to believe NewEgg doesn't carry a good quality basic computer case. Not everybody is into a fancy, ultra-modded case.

Nice Plain Case 1/31/2008 10:37:19 PM

Pros: First, it's an ASUS case. This case fit my needs: a plain black case that still looks cool. It has got plenty of room inside, great ventilation, and easy access side panels

Cons: The rear fan that came with it is a little noisy, but it does have a high flow rate. There are some weird clips for holding drives, but are easily removed.

Overall Review: The power supply is a weird off-brand, but I hope ASUS did some good sourcing!
