What is the true dimension of the height? It looks shorter than the advertised 15.6".

They have the dimensions swapped.  Height is 12.12, Depth is 15.64, Width is 7.40

Will a bracket for vertical mounting the GPU need to be purchased? Does the side bracket for fans have the ability to be used for this purpose?

yes, you will need to purchase a separate mounting adapter. no, the side bracket does not have the ability to be used for this purpose unless you have a custom adapter, which you probably cannot obtain without a manufacturer

Is the TOP panel removeable or is it pretty solid? I can't seem to find the Lian Li TU150 anywhere and I need a small case that has a handle. If the top panel if solidly attached, I can just make a custom handle. Thanks

Yes invert the case so the main opening opens on the right. You can horizontal the Video card or buy a cable and vertical you card. Look up inverted IM01 on reddit. lots of examples. Im running a ID cooling Frostflow 240x in this case inverted.

Does it fit regular atx power supplies?

Yes. I use a full ATX modular PSU of standard size. Other larger PSU might not fit, but I can't speak to it. The only issue I had during the build was that my PSU cables are not very flexible and quite bulky (with hard mesh sleeves). It doesn't really help building in a tight space.

Can this case fit the Hyper 212 evo?

It depends on which Hyper 212 Evo you have. My Hyper 212 Evo 1st generation from 2010 is 159mm tall, and pushes the side of the case but is still able to fit with the panel on. I was afraid of constant pressure on the board so I just bought something shorter. As for the Hyper 212 Evo 2, that one appears to be 155mm so that should fit. Keep in mind that you won't be able to mount fans on the side of the case opposite the motherboard with a cooler that tall.
