GIGABYTE GZ-X5 Black ABS / 0.6 mm SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: inexpensive, CPU duct, lots of space, no windows!! Standard screw system for securing drives, which I like (A cheap quick release system is worse than useless.) Drive bay covers are securely latched. Unit comes packed in an oversize box with foam on the ends so UPS has to try really hard to damage it in shipping. Thumbscrews for panels.

Cons: Piano finish fingerprints and scratches very easily when cleaned, don't use a paper towel. No reset button. Card slot covers are not reusable, they snap off like the inner steel drive bay covers. It has a quick release system for cards that I don't trust so secure the cards well. Price dropped 10 bucks a few days after I ordered it...sigh.

Overall Review: Nice case overall. If you snap out all of the rear card slot covers, you will need to scrounge something to fill the slots, but if you've built a computer or 2 before, its not an issue cuz you have spares or you can leave some open for air. I wish the grill on the front opened so you can add and remove a fan filter. BTW, peeps who complain about the duct not lining up should know, that its made to an Intel spec., Not AMD. Its hit and miss (mostly miss) as to whether it will line up with an AMD socket. AM2, 2+ and 3 will not line up. If you don't install a massive HS like a coolermaster212+ you can add an 80MM exhaust fan there

Pros: This is the best looking case "budget" case I've used. Piano black front, brushed silver power button. Fairly lightweight. Rolled corners and no sharp edges. Very easy to work with. This is now my choice for all of my budget builds. Seriously, if you are looking for a case under $50...this is the one!

Cons: The "tool-less" snaps were somehow left out of the box..I'm sure it was an oversight. I would have used the screws anyways.

Overall Review: This does not include a front fan....pick one up. Gigabyte has placed the 3.5" drive bays behind the fan location for better cooling.

Pros: The Case is awsome with it's Black styling/design ...Blue-lit Brushed Aluminum Power Button & also a Blue Harddrive indicator at the "TOP" of the Case. It looks really great. Definititely a must buy for the looks/price. Comes with a mounted 120mm exhaust fan ...& another 120mm intake fan can be mounted in the front. Case has 2 (behind panel) USB ports up front & audio ports if needed.

Cons: Not as heavy gauge metal ...as my Cheiftec Cases, but it doesn't need to be.

Overall Review: Money saved on the Case ...can be spent on more important PC Hardware. However ...I love this Case so much, I bought 8 of them.

Pros: Air flow is excellent, with the addition of a 120mm fan in the front. The front usb and audio ports are nicely done, the guard flips under the system to get completely out of the way. Front audio supports both HD and regular internal connections. Great price and had a mail in rebate at the time.

Cons: I wouldn't recommend as a box for regular LAN events, not quite study enough for getting lugged everywhere.

Overall Review: If your like me and want a box that isn't flashy or light up, you won't be disappointed.

Pros: Very good finish and professional looking. This is a correction of an earlier post (see bizBuilder "professional looking"). I incorrectly stated that the front panel is polystyrene, which would be a "con." It is actually "ABS" plastic which is very durable and does not scratch. So this case is really well suited to business system builds.

Cons: None really. It is not highly refined and finished like some cases costing 2 to 3 times as much. But for mid-grade business PCs, it does'nt have to be.

Overall Review: Computer case makers - please make more cases like this! It is reasonably priced, reasonably well finished, reasonable quality and most of all, looks professional!

Pros: This tower is good, it being a mid size case means it has some obvious flaws, I'm planning to have 3 video cards at some point and would need to upgrade to a full tower, but in the time being this one is plenty spacious enough. The only flaw I can really see is that is it does not have THAT great ventilation, mind you I am not saying its non-existent, but if you're going to build in this case with anything that does not have amazing stock cooling, it is worth it to try to create ventilation slots of your own on this case, it being the price it is, its not that much of a gamble to drill the holes, file it, and install your own ventilation. Other then this, it fits the motherboard I chose, power supply (850w) fits snug but not tight, I repainted mine with non-primed paint and it stuck great so there's no issue with the paint job it comes with (some gloss ones wont allow for further paint on them, thus requiring alot of work to repaint)

Cons: The shipping was on the long side, but after I got over the headache of ensuring everything was delivered right, it turned out very well. It was shipped from New Jersey to eastern Canada so the shipping time is more expected.

Pros: - Does what it advertises - very well made for the price and sturdy - fit all my parts good and the fan it came with wasent the best so i made it the front fan nd added on an aftermarket rear fan - install was easy came with great instructions and many screws and bolts.

Cons: -The fan it came with was not up to par imo

Overall Review: - NewEgg had great shipping and go my entire order in great time (love newegg)

Pros: Cheap None of the quick release/tooless design junk I now have all the screws I will ever need for the rest of my life

Overall Review: I'm using this with Cooler Master Hyper N 520, have to remove the duct, 2 year old loves her new toy... I had to ship this one to an APO address, after adding several cases that I liked to the shopping cart this one came out to be the cheapest to ship...I still had to pay more than the price of the case for shipping though :(
