Is this the case and the power supply or just the case?

Its just the case. The power supply wont drop until next month is what seasonic has said.

Side panel with rectangular vent or something? What is it as there are no Pics?

It's a cutout. If you use the Seasonic Syncro DPC system power supply, the power mamagement connect module fits in that space after you remove the cutout.

Is the seasonic syncro connect available or just the smaller connect psu? and if possible where to be purhcased from

The Syncro Connect is now available as of the March the 22nd in 650, 750 and 850, also a combo with each available.

Does this include the SYNCHRO power adapter (or whatever it's called; that long, flat, rectangular unit for which this case has the special cutout) ?
