Can you fit a cd drive in here?

Accepted Answer

Yes you can fit a CD and a Floppy Drive in here at the same time with external access.  You can also mount another drive below the CD drive internally.  When the CD Drive opens it pushes open a door on the case which is attached by a spring.  It is not the best but does work, I would probably have preferred to just have the drive mounted flush to the exterior, but I suppose some like to have the case full enclosed with a nicer look.

Question 2

Can you fit a mini itx motherboard in here instead of a micro itx?

Mini ATX has a standard size of 5.9 by 5.9 inches. Micro ATX is 9.6 by 9.6 inches.

So yes it should fit.

Question 3

I've never seen "250 Watt Constant/450 Watt Peak" before.  Could someone explain that?  I'm looking for a Micro ATX Slim case for a HTPC/Steam Box so I'm concerned about the PSU.  Estimates say I should need around 300W for what I want to put in (MoBo, RAM, APU, SSD, HDD, and BluRay), but I think I will need more.

Also, would it be possible to swap out the PSU for another?  I'm a little confused with how its situated in the front.

Hello, We have built several Media PCs around this case and have been very satisfied. Should be great for a Steam Box. You did not mention a Dedicated Video card in your Specs, if you are not planning on installing one then the included PSU will have plenty of power and should work just fine. New Egg has a power supply calculator on there web site that you can use to calculate your needs.

Question 4

Given, the dimensions, it sounds to have more than enough room to house a full ATX, am I wrong? A full ATX board is commonly 12x9.6, will that not fit into this product? Specifically, an ASUS Sabertooth 990 board?

I would highly recommend not trying it.  Quite honestly, it probably won't fit in the first place mostly because a full ATX board has a longer rear I/O (As in PCI slots).  It is also a tad bit wider than that of a micro ATX board which can lead to instability with the board's mounting in the case.

Question 5

Can one additional fan (80mm or other) be added?  I would like to further cool a 6x AMD although it currently seems to be ok, it appears that there are mounting slots near the side vents opposite the power supply side.  Can not determine what would fit there as a standard 80mm seems like it would be too thick to fit.  Thanks

Hello, No I don't think there is enough room to add standard 80mm fan, smaller yes. Case has decent air flow provided you don't restrict it buy placing objects on our to close to it. Your AMD CPU should be fine with the stock cooler but if your concerned upgrade to a better one.
