Pros: The case came well shipped, all parts included. The case lights up very nicely, a very pretty triangle button is used for power. The fans are large and work well. The case has dust filters on the bottom.
Cons: Unfortunately, and the only con I have for this case, is that the power button was DOA. Every light worked within the case, including the power button's LED, but the power button itself failed to work and I was forced to return it.
Pros: -Fans are large, good looking and quiet! Air circulation is excellent. -Power supply at bottom, and with a mesh filter under the case. Screw holes to install power supply up or down. -Fitting a full-size ATX motherboard was pretty easy for the case size. -USB 2.0 and 3.0 front ports. -Tool-less install of optical drives.
Cons: -Missing 1 ATX standoff -Can't get the other side of the case open -Old-style rear-facing internal drive bays with no 2.5" -Y U no have reset button!?
Overall Review: *Barely* fits the Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler. It's good for a cheap build but if you have more money to spend, step up to something else.
Pros: Nice look and feel. Lights are not too bright or to dim Lots of room to work Front panel simple to remove. Ok cable management Good space for SSD and Hard drives. Basement Power supply feature
Cons: Single 3.0 on the front panel. Front IO cables seem a little short for proper cable management Lack of option for AIO Radiator mounting Side panels seem a bit flimsy Tool less lockers seem a bit tight on some, loose on others. No Fan Filters Lack of mounting hardware.
Overall Review: Over all it’s a good case for a quick build or if you are planning on putting it beside or under the desk. Not the best option for a display piece. When I first received the case It was undamaged and showed no signs of being mishandled. Mounting of the motherboard was simple, however I did notice I was short a couple of mounting posts for the MB. I fortunately had some on hand so it was not a big deal. However, for someone who doesn’t have a bunch of mounting hardware sitting around, it could be a problem. The Front panel snaps off. With a little bit of coaxing with a flat blade plastic pry tool. There are small notches to allow better access and less marring of the front panel. The wires for the front panel where not tied back. So have zip ties or velcro on hand for your cable management. Running the cables where you want them can create and issue. Especially if your USB or audio headers at toward the back of the MB. The wires will not be long enough to make the run. The audio headers where even a close call with a direct run for the board I choose. Mounting of the Blueray drive went smooth for the most part. When I first removed the tool less locker. I didn’t see how tight it was. I had to try a couple of the lockers until I found one that fit properly with the drive in place. This could have been a problem if I had multiple devices that filled the 5.25 drive bays. The power supply fit perfectly. I had the EVGA 750 semi modular power supply. All the mounting screws lined up. No forcing or pushing to make it work line some other cases I have used in the past. Air flow was respectable. The stock fans move air very well through the case. With a stock CPU cooler and video card. The temps stay within a non-worrisome over heating range. If you plan to use an AIO solution for your Cooling, I suggest getting a different case as there is really no good place to mount the radiator for the AIO. Over all I would purchase this case again for a cheap build or something just to hold the internal parts that I don’t plan to use for a display piece. Good solid case with good options.
Pros: Everything mounted with ease. No wiring problems at all. Enough room to mount a MSI H110 Gaming motherboard with a MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, and a Rosewiil Hive Series 750 wt power supply, with room to spare for airflow. 3 built in fans !! All fans worked good with awesome effects. All around good looking and efficient ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case for the price.
Cons: ...nothing so far !!
Overall Review: If you're looking for a real nice ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case that won't cost you having to trim your build somewhere else .. look no further. That statement sums it all up.
Pros: The price you pay for this case and what you get is a good compromise in my opinion. The case cooling fans aren't noisy. Comes with a lot of extra screws for securing GPU's, HDD's, and SSD's. Motherboard standoff holes in case are marked for what form factor motherboard you are going to install. The green LED fans that come pre-installed look good when the system is running. The USB 3.0 socket on the front of the case is nice to be able to plug a memory stick into when transferring files. There is a mesh screen on the bottom of the case below where the PSU installs.
Cons: The instructions are on one page with just pictures with very little description of where components go but it is not hard to figure out. As stated before in a couple other reviews, the case comes with 6 motherboard standoffs already installed in the case and 2 more in the bag with the screws but an ATX mother board needs a total of 9.
Overall Review: All in all I would buy this case again. All that needs to be included as stated above is 1 more motherboard standoff and a set of instructions that are more descriptive. Other then that, this is a pretty decent case.
Pros: Came with all the fans that are surprisingly quiet and a couple have green LEDs. Everything fit inside with no problems at all. No sharp edges. Great price. My 6yr old son loves it.
Cons: Kind of thin or flimsy but not bad.
Overall Review: I got this for my sons first gaming computer. He picked it out and loves it. It arrived promptly and was ready to build. It's a cheaper case but i think a great value for the price. I have an old case and wouldnt mind a blue case like this with no tank decals. overall i would buy one again.
Pros: There's not a lot of positive things I can say. I have bought this modestly priced gaming computer case (Yellow accent) in the past, and was satisfied with it's accessibility, general construction, and the fact it had three factory installed 120 mm fans... one front, one rear, and one side providing good case circulation and cooling without the need for additional fans. This computer case being reviewed is the green version. It has a nice side panel window with a fan as mentioned before. It comes with motherboard screws, extra standoffs in addition to the ones already installed in the case, screws for mounting DVDs, HDDs, and SSDs (within a adapter bracket, of course), and a few sharp pointed metal screws. An audio speaker is also included for the motherboard. It also has a consistent black paint job, inside and out, and a youthful flashy Tank design on the left side of case that may appeal to young computer users... onto the Cons...
Cons: After partially assembling components inside this case, I found that the front panel ribbon cable HD Audio plug and the USB 2.0 plug were both damaged. NOT HAPPY AT THIS POINT! The plastic on the plugs was melted as if someone had used a soldering iron on them. The USB plug was rendered completely useless because the pin holes on the end were blocked with melted over plastic. The HD Audio plug was damaged, but I was still able to be plugged into the HD Audio Port on the sound card. Weather or not it works, I don't know since I wasn't able to complete the build. The coating on a couple of individual wires by the USB 2.0 plug were also melted away exposing raw wire as well. Either someone at the manufacturing facility came in with a bad attitude the day this box was being assembled or the ribbon cable being installed was not inspected before installation that may have come from a supplier in that condition. I don't know how this could happen otherwise. It was either intentionally damaged or a case of gross negligence in the manufacturing process or quality control. I will be getting a RMA and returning this computer case back to Newegg immediately.
Overall Review: I would still recommend this computer case for anyone interested in building a computer on a modest budget. I feel like I got a lemon as they say because of the defective front panel ribbon cable plug damage rendered the computer case useless. Better quality control at the factory could have prevented this product from going out the door. I would be a little hesitant to purchase this product again after what has occurred, but it's price, design, and construction still warrant serious consideration for a modestly priced computer build. This kind of flawed product does not enhance a company's reputation. I'm upset because of the time and effort lost in attempting to nor only build this computer, but the hassle of sending it back for a replacement.
Pros: Cheap. The case is a beautiful shade of black. Really good looking. Easy to mount cd/dvd plastic brackets. Fans included. Filters on vent holes. Fan mount on side of case. Metal is sturdy. LED lighting in the fans is not overzealous. The power button is awesome. SATA cabling does not have to be 2 feet long, 6 inches would be fine. What am I to do with all my super long cables? Did I mention that I really liked the dark shade of black? I hope it does not fade...
Cons: There are net enough screws. I would pay the $0.5 for more too. Minus 1/2 star. There is only one PCIe bracket. The rest are punch-outs. I would pay the extra $1 for them. Punch-outs are just stupid, especially for a DIY PC (which is the trade name... You guys should know better). Minus 1/2 star. The fan in the front blocks the HDs from being placed all the way back into the case slot. This makes the cables coming from the PSU and the ones going to the HDs very hard to connect and bends them a lot too. This looks like it could have been fixed without changing the case design, just move the fan further into the plastic front panel. Minus 1/2 star. The cable management is minimal. I did expect and am fine with that. There are no ties to help either. Fans make a quiet humming noise. It is a bit annoying, like a mouse that will not shut up. I can change them if I want to. I'm OK with it for now. There is no recess on the back of the case. I have seen many prebuilt computer cases that have a recess on the back beginning at the motherboard's panel insert. This adds a hand hold for the back of the case with a corresponding one on the front where the cd/dvd drive inserts. I don't know why this case does not have one or another handhold. I could not believe when I read reviews that stated that the plastic panel on the side got scratched easily. How is it possible? I don't know. Perhaps the plastic has been recycled 1 too man times (in spite of the claim that plastic can be "infinity recycled" the molecular structure breaks down as a result of time and the recycling process, hence the smell of hot plastic). So, yes, it does scratch very easily. The scratches are not visible from a distance and/or with dim lighting as is common under the desk. I personally don't care as long as it stays together.
Overall Review: At least one person reported that the front USB connectors will break if you use force on the device or when inserting a USB device, I have not had this problem, but the connectors do not seem that solid. Personally, I prefer it this way because I would be most upset if my expensive flash drive broke vs. a piece of plastic that I will glue back on for $0.5. My biggest mistake with this case so far has been that I should have attached the side fan's power cable before installing the PSU and the lowest PCIe card. I had to do some disassembly to get to the MBs fan header. I have not yet gotten the front USB 3.0 header working. Perhaps it will not work with USB 2.0 devices like the back ones will? The review had to be long. Normally I'm much more quiet...
