Pros: First, it's a great price for an ATX case and really a great product at that price point. It has a lot of space inside. This was my first build and it was very easy to work inside the case. It is a really good looking case as well. Nice aesthetic design elements. Also nice that you can choose the color, I got mine in blue. Say you like this case but wanted wanted to do a green or red theme. You wouldn't have to go looking at cases that cost more and you don't like as much. Tons of of drive bays and it seems to be built really well...very sturdy. Also, although I have not fired it up yet, it seems like it will have good airflow.
Cons: There are a few cons with this case. Some more egregious than others. The two worst in my opinion are the directions or lack thereof, and the positioning of the cables from the power button and front (or top in this case) usb. The directions are nearly nonexistent. I would like to say that this is a great case for a first-time builder because of the ease of building inside it. However, first timers definitely need a little more instruction than what is provided. Literally a couple awful pictures and a few words for some rather important installation instructions. The cables coming from the front definitely do get in the way of installing optical drives. I know not everybody puts them in a computer but I was putting two optical drives and a card reader in the 5.25 bays. I suppose if you weren't filling them all you could simply leave the top one empty and this wouldn't be an issue. In general, I think there could have been some better cable management solutions. Some of the cable routing is rather awkward. While these are all cons, I see nothing that will it affect the functionality now that everything is together, they could have very easily done some things to make the build go a little smoother. That's why I have only docked one egg. Also, I wish that the area for the power supply had been partitioned off. This is mostly because my power supply was the last part arrive, and as I can be impatient, I would have liked to do the rest of the build once I got the parts. I knew as a first-time builder though that it might present some problems with space getting the power supply in if I had done it that way. One last point on the directions issue, it came with a big bag of three different types of screws with no indication of what screws were supposed to go where. This became an issue because I originally used the wrong type of screw for the motherboard and broke a screw off in one of the standoffs.
Overall Review: Just an FYI, this came with six of the standoffs installed and 3 in the bag of screws. No extras for an ATX MoBo. (Not that I expected extras to be included...I didn't) I ended up having to order standoffs due to the issue above. Overall I couldn't be more happy with this case for the price. I was already over budget on everything so to not have to shell out a fortune for the case was nice. And I still got something that I really like the look of a lot! And again, none of the cons affect performance, just the ease of building.
