Ive installed the power to the RGB strip, its working. However the button on the front I/O does not cycle through any LED presets. Is this faulty or is something not hooked up?

If the LEDs are on, the button may be broken. If the leds are off, check the connection. I believe it's one connector that splits to go to the button and power. I dont believe you can specifically detach the button, however it could be unseated from its holder and you are not able to press it down completely. Best of luck

Can I add a CD player?

There is space for 3 fans or a 360mm radiator. But it comes with an argb strip for the lighting.
