Features

Antec Computer Case

The Solano 1000 is constructed from Japanese SECC for extra durability and features a metal mesh front for optimal airflow. For card and CPU cooling, the side panel houses a blue LED 230mm intake fan and the two blue LED 140mm fans on the front panel cool HDDs. The top panel 230mm blue LED fan and the rear 120mm fan vent heat to minimize system slowdown.

Push your rig to the limit with water cooling. Holes are predrilled in the rear panel for external radiator installation. When not in use, rubber grommets keep the dust out. The Solano 1000's tool-free design makes adding drives and expansion cards a snap with thumb screws so you can get back to into the fight fast. EPIC CASE 1/12/2019 6:10:22 AM

Pros: I have been building computers since the mid 90's and never til this purchase have i seen such a awesome case, when i first bought it i did not realize how tall it was (not a problem) the ease of use and the design make this the best case i have ever used hands down. I am very happy with my decision to purchase this case

Cons: None!

Love this product! This is the Backup computer to the blue main! 10/16/2017 9:38:13 AM

Pros: Roomy, easy to change out motherboard after it's assembled.

Cons: Could not get the Corsair H110i radiator to screw right on to the top inside of the case without drilling a few holes. I had to do the same thing with the Blue case. I took pictures if anyone needs to know where to place it as I have done two of them.

Overall Review: Other then that I will keep purchasing this case over others I have seen/ used. I am running 36 TB in this case with 128 gig ram with fans, the case has lots of fans and screens for cleaning the dust. If you are looking for a large case with ample space this should be a good one for you.

Excellent for the price. 7/9/2017 10:51:34 AM

Pros: Lots of case fans stock help keep everything cool.
Looks decent.
Lots of space as you would expect from a Full ATX case.
Outward vent for the power supply, as reccomended.
Comes with nine standoffs, which was a lifesaver since my motherboard came with none, and needed nine.

Cons: Side fan initially wouldn't turn, gave it a little nudge though, and now it's happily spinning away.
Standoffs don't fit into the frame well, have a tool ready to tighten them down, you will need it.

Great case - stands the test of time. 1/18/2017 12:33:55 PM

Pros: I bought this case in 2009 and have used it ever since. I've not had any issues with any components whatsoever.

The inside is extremely roomy. I've had probably four different graphic card setups in it over the years, including a pair of something or other crossfired. Currently running an XFX r9 390x, which is massive - but still fits more than comfortably. The 390x is known to run ridiculously hot - but ample airflow in the case, so I'm usually low 70s under load. There are two large drive bays, but I've got four SSDs and two standard 3.5" HDDs all in the same bay - leaving one drive fan free to blow more air towards graphics card.

Long story short: I am currently looking to build a new rig just because it's been too long since a total from-scratch build...
I'll pass this one off to my wife, as it's still runs like a beast - and I'll likely buy another one of these cases for the new build.

It's reliable and a great bang for the buck option.

Cons: No real cons. There are better looking cases perhaps, but I'll take proven reliability over pretty any day.

Overall Review: You will not be disappointed if you choose this case.

Great case but cheap fans 1/8/2017 2:01:27 AM

Pros: very roomy and has sturdy feeling to it.

Cons: The biggest con is the fans that come with the case. they are cheap fans and will stop rotating after a year or two.
I had to purchase replacement fans

Overall Review: none

Great product! Best tower I've ever purchased. Plenty of room to build and great features. 12/13/2016 2:05:03 PM

Pros: Best tower I've ever purchased. Plenty of room to build and great features. Runs very quiet.

Cons: I couldn't use the fan that came with the case door. My heatsink & processor was just too tall for it to fit, but I took it off, everything fit & it runs cool with out the extra fan.

Overall Review: I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this case to my friends. I will be ordering another for my husbands rebuild, soon!

Best case for the price 10/31/2016 5:47:50 AM

Pros: Not expensive for what it offers, big, ten 5 1\4 bays for my hot swap HDD trays, tons of futures, lots of fans, excellent design and air flow and better then some cases in the $300 dollar range, attractive, tons of room, all screw holes line up, tons of screws

Cons: metal little on the thin side but I'm not using it as a chair so its all good, plastic seems cheap

Overall Review: in the future if i need to buy a case. will i buy this case again? big YES, for $110 dollars it is a steal

Well made case with plenty of room 9/13/2016 8:11:25 PM

Pros: The build quality of this case is absolutely great.
All the fans give this case great airflow.
Room for cable management behind the motherboard.
Plenty of room for big video cards
Room up top for a 2 fan liquid cooling radiator. I don't think a 3 fan radiator will fit.
Plenty of included screws to mount nearly anything you need.
Tons of room for Hard drives

Cons: No place to mount a SSD.
I'd prefer to ditch the side panel fan for more window space.
The lack of filters will make this a dusty case, however a DIY filter made of pantyhose is fairly easy to fashion.
Rubber grommets would be a nice addition for the cable management holds in the motherboard tray.
The power button LED should be red to match the rest of the case.
