Clean with stiff brush
One can wash if so minded... thoroughly dry before reinstall

How often... all depends how dusty the environment

Purchase should be 2 filtes... if one expects immediate need of computer.

If dusty environment... you might consider a 'positive pressure' case as your next purchase  :=)

Do you mount these on the intake or exhaust side of the fan or does it matter?

My case has two large square openings on top for exhaust, and I mounted an exhaust fan on one, but I mounted this filter on the other one to keep dust out of the case.  Hope this helps.

What it's made of? Metal or plastic or what?

It's plastic, and it's very flexible.  Be careful that you screw in your fan so it is firmly against and not as far as it can go.

Honestly, I don't remember. I returned it because it didn't work with my fans (I think because bit was too think).

Will this work with any 120mm fan?

Yup.  Basically when you screw the fan on from the outside of the case, this either goes on the outside against the case, or inside against the case between the fan.  Then just screw it in and works great.  Though, it gets full really fast like in a month.  It's a really fine mesh screen but, I have lots of dust in my house.

Does this fan come with the necessary bits (screws, etc.) to install it?

Yes, Yes it should(there black).  All 4 of mine(1 80mm and 3 120mm) came with screws, front grill and filter media.

What's the bolt pattern of the holes?

The picture of the product clearly shows a hole in each corner. It fit with the side holes on the case and through the fan casing. I did have to buy longer screws to accommodate the length of everything they had to go through, so a slight additional expense.

What is are the dimensions of the product?   Please don't tell me that is fits a 120mm fan!  Real time dimensions please.

Installing this increased the depth of my fan by around 5mm, so these are accurate dimensions.

Would this fit power supply fans?

Physically, it would probably fit. Assuming your PSU has a 120mm fan. But when you remove the screws holding the fan, you'd need to be careful that the fan doesn't drop into the PSU.

My question is: why would you want to restrict airflow through the power supply?
