How do you actually open the enclosure? It is so tightly bounded to the bottom

You can see the little holes I'm talking about in the 4th picture on the product page that has the unit open (without the cover), in a 45 degree angle. The little holes are right below the two little dots on both sides on both ends. I hope this helps.
