Am I correct on this that this MB offers only 1 video output??? So only 1 monitor can be used?? Is this correct??

A Z790 Extreme MB with only i7-12900K or KS onboard graphics WILL drive 2 monitors. Do do so, you must use its Thunderbolt 4 port together with a USB-C to HDMI or DisplayPort cable. Boot with just the onboard HDMI port connected. Once in Win11 Pro 22H2, connect monitor 2. Press a couple of keys and 2nd monitor should activate. However, onboard UHD Graphics is significantly slower than a RTX 2070 or 3070 card so the latter is a far better choice for gaming &/or video editing..

4090 PCIe4 and fast gen 4 M.2 in the Extreme. For performance do I need to avoid the M.2-1 slot because that "may" slow down the video card? Does anyone know which M.2 slots to use to maximize both the M.2 speeds and the GPU frame rates?

I thought if you used the top M.2 slot with a gen 5 M.2 then it will reduce the lanes of the GPU from 16 to 8 on the top GPU slot. But if you use a gen 4 M.2 the speed will not be reduced, at least that's what I thought.

Why is it the releasing on the 31st when other sites say the 20th? Is Newegg late to the game?
