Is this motherboard compatible with Windows 8?

I bought this in a DIY combo for someone and put it together for them and they are running windows vista right now.  I don't see why it wouldn't run windows 8 though, I'm sure it will.

CAN I USE  A A6-5400K PROCESSOR WITH THIS MOTHERBOARD?

I don't think so. That processor is listed as having a FM2 processor but the board is listed as having a FM1 socket.

In addition the processor you listed is a CPU + GPU. This board has a built in graphics card so that might cause a problem but maybe not. I am using another graphics card with this board. I am using an AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 6-Core 3.3GHz Socket AM3+ 95W FD6100WMGUSBX Desktop Processor.

i need to know the MAX wattage power supply i can use on this item?

Do you meant the minimum amount? I used a 530 watt with 1 disc drive, a hybrid hard drive, and add on video card.

I don't believe the motherboard plays any significant role in wattage consumption, if that's what you're asking... That said, the components installed on these can probably be powered by a 350-500W depending primarily upon the Video Card. If you're building a rig with a power-demanding GFX card though, you shouldn't be looking at this motherboard.

Do this board support hardware virtualization???

I'd check the Motherboard manual as I can't specifically remember and this was one built for my family member at their house. Most mfr's have the manuals with the specs online.

Any chance this MOBO will work with Win2000?

I do not see a driver available. You will need to find an older motherboard with a chipset that is supported by 2000. It MIGHT work, but I dought it.
