If you’re tired of generic on-board audio then MSI’s K9N Diamond is the motherboard for you with a Creative Labs SoundBlaster Audigy SE H/W built right in. The board comes with AMD’s Socket AM2 and supports the Athlon 64 X2, Athlon 64 FX, and Athlon 64 processors. The 4 DIMM sockets support up to 8GB of DDR2-800 SDRAM. The 2 PCI-E x16 slots function at full x16 speed in SLI mode. There are also 2 PCI-E x1 and 2 PCI expansion slots on board. There are 6 SATAII drive headers and an ATA133 header for 2 ATA drives.
The back panel has 4 USB 2.0 and one FireWire port and there are headers for up to 6 more USB 2.0 and 2 more FireWire ports on the front of the case. The dual gigabit LAN ports make sharing your data fast and easy.
