MSI P6NGM-L LGA 775 NVIDIA GeForce7050 / nForce610i Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: I purchased this board for me but, passed it on to my wife. It's a great board, plenty of features. It can overclock easy, I love that. It booted right up, no issues. I'm running a Pentium Core2Duo e4500 and ran my e6320 CPU with no issues at all. I LOVE THE MSI LIVE UP DATE! Currently, using e4500, 2GB DDR2 800 Gskill, Nvidia 6600LE, 160Gb Seagate.

Cons: The following is why I took an Egg from this board: Both USB headers are in the back. it made an upgrade for my wife more time consuming. I had to rearrange the card reader and front usb hub so their cables could reach all the way back. Plus, had to use a 5.25 to 3.5 to make all this happen. The other problem for me was the bottom PCI slot has a capacitor right in the back of it, toward the back of the case.Hence, unable to use it for a USB PCI card. I had to install it right below the Video. Now I'm hoping I won't have to use the third slot, of course it would depend on the shape of card used. These are simple but can really become a problems. Of all the systems I put together I don't remember encountering a problem like this.

Overall Review: This is an overall good solid board, ran it for 72 hours before I installed it in it's case. I currently, have the e4500 Overclocked @ 2.4 and it's solid. It's overclocked with the stock heatsinkfan running between 35 to 42c, the normal rage is suppose to be, according to my googling, 5-60c. Room temperature is between 78 to 82 F. The price and overclocking ability it's what makes this Board great deal and of course it's stability. Just under half a century is all it cost me, not bad at all. The only way I would not recommend this board is if you need all PCI slots, since there is a chance you might not be able to use them for what you intent to. It would all depend on the shape of the PCI card you intent installing on the last bottom slot. One note, a friend has this board with the exact setting and he has it overclocked with a Zalman CNPS 9700 @3.0 @ much lower temperatures, NOT TOO BAD. Hope this helps!

Pros: It's a very decent budget board. I got a Pentium D 805 up to 3.2 GHz with 100% stability in Prime95. Though a dedicated video card is always a better solution, the integrated graphics do a decent job.

Cons: I couldn't find a setting for the CPU vcore. I know that I could've pushed this CPU considerably higher if the vcore was available.

Overall Review: Even without the vcore setting, this is a great board. I have never been disapppointed with the nForce series of boards and this one is no exception.

Pros: Decent price with basic OC functions. havent tested them much though since its not my rig.

Overall Review: got this to build my sis in law a new rig, just needed something to play wow and do homework. one thing i encontered was that after shuttign down from windows, the fans on the case and CPU will not shut off. you have to either hold down the power button for 3 seconds or hit the switch on the PSU. i dont know if its the mobo, the drivers for the mobo, or if its windows. i didnt see any settings in the bios that helped, but she doesnt mind anyway.

Pros: Ordered this board to build my brother a new computer. Worked great right out of the box. Overclocked E2180 from 2GHZ to 3GHZ easily.

Cons: Manual doesn't list usb pin assignments. Onboard video doesn't work well with new games. I popped in my old 7900gs and ordered a new AMD/ATI 4850.

Overall Review: Passed 24 hours of SiSoft Sandra stress tests

Pros: The price! 4 SATA connectors, everything worked flawlessly! Did I mention the price?

Cons: no 1394 connections on board.

Overall Review: You can't beat the price of this mother board. It is a killer board! Worked flawlessly with my setup! If you are looking for a good mother board for everyday surfing the net and maybe playing a little civilization 4 then this one is for you! My setup is intel core 2 quad q6600 2.4 ghz, 4 gbyte of OZ ram, 250 gigabyte, 7200rpm w/ 16mb cache seagate SATA hard drive and a liteon 20x lightscribe DVD burner. CPU runs @ 35 degrees c idle to 42 c under load w/ factory cpu fan. I have these in a Thermaltake Lanbox HT. very quiet! very cheap!

Pros: works fine.

Cons: no cons really but I'm not buying another MSI product.

Overall Review: MSI rebate department is worthless... I submitted a rebate and haven't heard from them in 3 months so I decided to check on it and they told me it was rejected (was never informed) due to the wrong slipped placed(i placed the packaging slip, newegg doesn't place a invoice with it's shipments) I said i can print out the invoice from newegg.com they said no resubmissions after so long.

Pros: Cheapest board for latest CPU including all Allendale with onboard Nvidia video. Perfect for any HTPC build, will fit all cases. Easy to install.

Cons: No e-SATA or 1394 firewire ports or case cable connectors. only 2 memory slots for 4GB max.

Overall Review: Custom build for friend non gamer - pqi POWER Series 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 800, Intel Pentium E2220 Allendale 2.4GHz, WD Caviar SE16 WD5000AAKS 500GB, COOLER MASTER Centurion 5 CAC-T05-UW Black Aluminum Bezeland, WinXP Home SP2B. Installed and all booted up the first time and WinXP installed without need of SATA drivers. Great PC build for under $380

Pros: Easy installation and great documentation! Great driver support!

Cons: No IEEE-1374 support.

Overall Review: This is a great board. The onboard nForce RAID works great with Vista x64. One thing I did notice though is during setup, when installing the 64-bit drivers, it gives you a warning to only use signed drivers, then kicks you back to the drive selection again. Found you have to select the 64-bit driver first, ignore the warning, install the 32-bit driver, ignore the second warning, then setup will continue as it's supposed to. I'm using this board with an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0 GHz that was support out-of-the-box. I'm also using Corsair 2x2GB DDR2-800, but the board only supports DDR2-667 (the sticks clock down to run fine).
