Motherboard DOA 9/18/2012 6:30:12 AM

Pros: I have none for this item. It is a lousy MB.

Cons: I bought this motherboard over a month ago but because the hard drive I ordered arrive broken (SATA terminal broken and bent) I wasn't able to do the system build until the replacement hard drive arrived. Dead on Arrival. Usually when you start a system you can at least get to the bios. Not even able to do that. Complete junk as far as I'm concerned.

Overall Review: If MSI wants to and will replace this, fine. Because of the bad hard drive issue I've gone beyond Neweggs 30 days and can't return it for credit.

Pros: Liked the motherboard it installed well.

Cons: New machine build with all new parts and I have discovered the DIMM2 slot seems to have a issue and prevents a successful boot. I have not had a memory slot issue in some time. I am unsure about the quality on the motherboard. I am still running my burn in to test the other components. I will update after 24 hrs.

Overall Review: I hope the motherboard can be exchanged I like the smaller footprint in the case.

Pros: Cheap. But you get what you pay for.

Cons: Died after 6 weeks with an audible "pop".

Overall Review: Now I've got to go thru the RMA process. What a hassle.

Pros: Not sure why people are having trouble with these boards. Got this board with a discounted bundle for another customer. Posted first time with a i3 2120 processor, 8g of G.Skill and everything runs great!

Cons: Absolutely none.

Overall Review: After 10+ builds using MSI motherboards I have never have one fail to boot and work properly. Maybe I've been lucky , I would never hesitate to buy one though.
I'm sure occasionally people have issues with all motherboards but I'll stick with what works for me.

Pros: Everything works except ethernet

Cons: Can't do too much without being able to install the ethernet adapter.

Overall Review: I contacted MSI today...I'll report back if they're responsive. It would have been nice if the fellow
who had the same problem back in March had
given the solution...

Pros: Great entry level board for a budget HTPC. Does support AHCI but need to update bios to version A41. MSI tech support promptly answered my question regarding AHCI with link to updated bios. On their page they only show A2, but if you email tech support they'll send you the link to their FAQ that contains the updated bios.

Cons: No RAID or E-SATA, but it is a budget board. Not very good OC options, but I wasn't planning on it.

Overall Review: Overall I am pleased with MSI. This is first time I bought one of their boards, usually I go with ASUS or Gigabyte, but they were one of the first ones to release the 1155 B3 board and I needed to upgrade. Will definitely consider buying them in the future.

Network adapter doesn't work 3/17/2011 4:30:01 PM

Pros: Everything but the network adapter works, so it is virtually worthless to me.

Cons: When installing the Realtek network driver it fails then says "The RealTek Network Adapter/Controller was not found.
If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled Please Plug the Cable."
I have tried everything and it still doesn't work.

Overall Review: I don't know if it is supposed to be this way, but they gave me the European version.
